Nina, Katherine, and Jill continue to claw at each other. Jill accuses Nina of not caring about Phillip since she’s disturbing his final resting place. She says that he was the love of her life, and Jill responds that she probably said that to all of her husbands. Nina stomps out and Katherine tells Jill that Paul found out that Violet Montgomery wasn’t in Genoa City when Katherine switched Jill’s baby. She insists to Jill that Nina may be asking questions about Cane that they themselves should have asked. This does not look good for Cane. Jill and Katherine reminisce that it is Phillip II’s birthday. Then, Jill recalls days of bigger hair—the day that Phillip III died (“First the father. Now the son!”). So many Phillips. Katherine asks Jill how she can love Phillip III whether he was her biological child or not, but she can’t believe that Katherine still loves her as a mother.
