The Action: Mac approaches Billy and wants to talk about her conversation with Lily. Billy, however, has no idea about her dilemma and cuts her off before she gets the opportunity to open up.

Chance and Chloe go outside just in time to hear Billy and Mac discussing her possible pregnancy. Chloe’s shocked, thinking that Mac might be having Billy’s baby. Billy quickly corrects her and informs them of Mac’s plan to carry Cane and Lily’s child as a surrogate. Chloe can’t help needling Billy, knowing that Mac’s decision to be Cane’s surrogate is driving him crazy. Chance not-so-subtly drags Chloe back inside.

Billy softens and invites Mac to talk to him but it’s too late. She shuts him down and he walks away in frustration. Alone, Mac says “goodbye, Billy” like she really means it. Inside, Chloe’s enthusiasm over Mac’s surrogacy is a little too over the top to be believable. Both Mac and Chance can see right through her motives when she offers to be there for Mac. Chance puts Chloe on the spot when he asks if her generosity has anything to do with Billy’s sudden availability. When Chloe denies, Chance points out that he saw the look on her face when she thought Mac might be having Billy’s baby. She was completely crushed.
