As the favorite son of Stephanie and Eric Forrester (well, yes, his biological papa is Massimo Marone, but he didn't find that out until much later in life), dashing fashion designer Ridge has grown up thinking he's a prince among men. And he acts like it, too -- never admitting he's wrong and never accepting blame. (Sounds like a lotta guys we know.) He's fond of saying "I love you forever," often followed by "but I'm leaving you for another woman." (Sounds like our college dating experience.)
Ridge gets his Mack Daddy attitude from the man who raised him -- he's bedded a half-dozen women and married three more, including Brooke and Taylor multiple times. (They're his very own Bermuda Triangle.) From his mother, he gets grief -- 'cause none of these gals, especially mortal enemy Brooke, is good enough for her preciousss Ridge. (Gollum's got nothing on Stephanie.)
Ridge's sense of entitlement extends to the family business, where he always aligns himself with whoever can put him in power -- even if he never holds on to that power for long.
