Ronn lives in Hollywood with actress-model Devin DeVasquez -- they met on a 2004 blind date set up by Lorenzo Lamas, who was also on "B&B" at the time. Ronn has two daughters (Caleb and Creason) from his marriage to actress Shari Shattuck. Unlike his fashion-forward character, Ronn's a jeans-and-T-shirt guy who enjoys making music in his home studio. He also likes photography and traveling. He's been on the Italian version of "Dancing With the Stars," and in Australia he did a famously funny TV commercial for orange juice, playing off his being anything but your typical Australian male. (Somebody got THAT right.)
As the bass player in Player, Ronn scored a No. 1 hit with "Baby, Come Back" in 1978. (You heard it in the soundtrack of the "Transformers" movie.) After three albums, he decided to become an actor and made his 1985 TV debut in "Trapper John, M.D."
Two years later, Ronn landed the role that made him a star, playing favorite-son fashion designer Ridge Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful." (He's an original cast member.) And he's back to making music: His 2005 solo album, "Uncovered," features a song for his daughters ("Butterfly") and a tongue-in-chic cover of ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man." (He'll sell you an autographed copy on eBay!)
Ronn has been videotaping the behind-the-scenes action of "B&B" -- he calls it "another soap opera" -- for 20 years! He wants to turn it into a history-of-the-show doc. (We sooo can't wait to see it!)
