Jack (born Peter John Wagner) has been playing golf since he was 10. When he failed to win a golf scholarship to the University of Arizona, he decided to study theater there instead. He's the father of two sons (Peter and Harrison) with his ex-wife (former "General Hospital" on-screen love interest Kristina Malandro). They married in 1993 and divorced in 2006.
After graduating from college, Jack went to Los Angeles. He worked as a Universal Studios tour guide before rocketing to stardom as rocker Frisco Jones on "General Hospital." He did three different stints on that show: 1983-88, 1989-91, and 1994-95. Because his character was a musician, Jack often sang on screen, which led to a No. 2 pop hit with "All I Need" in 1985. He's since made five albums, most recently 2005's "Dancing in the Moonlight."
Jack went on to star in "Santa Barbara" (1991-93) and "Melrose Place" (1994-99), before joining the cast of "The Bold and the Beautiful" as sea captain and sometime musician Dominick Marone in 2003.
Golf Digest magazine ranks Jack Hollywood's top player; he's a scratch (zero handicap) golfer.
