Heather started in commercials at age 2 and by age 10 was dancing with the Seattle Pacific Ballet. In her teens, she moved with brother David and sister Nicholle to Los Angeles, where they all became successful actors. Heather's into politics: She's worked with Rock the Vote and campaigned for California Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez. She also collects art and loves to read.
In L.A., Heather landed roles on sitcom "Who's the Boss?" and in TV flicks like "She'll Take Romance." But her breakout came as Victoria Newman on "The Young and the Restless," which scored her two Emmys for Outstanding Younger Lead Actress (in 1993 and 1999). Her work on that show is one reason she holds the record for most Emmy nominations for an actress under 30.
Heather left "Y&R" in 2003 and moved on to play Kelly Cramer Buchanan on "One Life to Live" (also appearing as the same character on "All My Children") -- and score a couple more Emmy nods. Her non-daytime work includes roles on TV's "Monk" and in the funeral-home comedy "Stiffs." In 2007, she joined the cast of "The Bold and the Beautiful" as Katie Logan, landing yet another Emmy nomination
Heather's a brunette now, because she didn't like getting her roots done. We agree that it's a total pain.
