Born Don Feinberg -- Diamont is his mother's maiden name -- he's the youngest of four children, with two sisters and a brother who died of a brain tumor in 1990. Don was raised in Los Angeles and currently lives there with his fiancee (actress Cindy Ambuehl), their twin sons (Anton and Davis), and four boys (Lauren, Sasha, Alexander, and Luca) from his first marriage. He also enjoys basketball and cycling.
His smoldering good looks made him a natural for modeling, but Don quickly grew bored and went for acting instead. A 1984 role on "Days of Our Lives" led to his joining "The Young and the Restless" as hard-working, well-married Brad Carlton in 1985.
In 1997, he took a break from daytime to play the swashbuckling title role in a "Marco Polo" biopic, co-starring with the likes of Jack Palance and Oliver Reed. Look carefully for his appearances in a 1998 episode of "Baywatch" and the 2003 film "Anger Management" starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson. Diamont left "Y&R" in 2009 and has been with "The Bold and the Beautiful" since.
In 1990, Don became the first daytime actor to appear in People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" issue. He was also Playgirl magazine's cover boy twice -- in 1988 and 1995.
