The prescription for the residents of Port Charles, NY, is the love of power -- and the power of love. As their daily lives unfold amidst a backdrop of murder, mob wars, and mansions, the towering face of General Hospital is a constant. It's the town's common arena, and links the Quartermaine, Spencer, and Corinthos families together.![]()
Recap by Jeff Long
In a Word:Robin is hot on Andrea's trail. Michael and Kristina get held up. Spinelli decides to talk to Mac.
The Action: Molly knows via the internet (hellooo, parental controls when you're a DA) that Alexis has been arrested. She tells Molly that her name is going to be cleared and she doesn't want her to go onto the internet anymore. Molly agrees (sure that's going to work out) but asks if Claudia's wreck was really Alexis's fault, and she replies that it was an accident. Molly wonders why she waited to confess, and Alexis says that she can't talk about it. Diane goes to Alexis and tells her that she has to tell the police that Kristina caused the accident, which Molly hears.
Michael and Kristina wake up in Vera Cruz. Why is he sleeping on the chair? Is the chemistry between the SIBLINGS so powerful that they can't, as desperate runaways, share an uncomfortable hotel bed? Tell us. Kristina wants to write a postcard home, but Michael reminds her that there would be a postmark (and she's the perfect genius of the family?). He says that, because of Spinelli, it's dangerous for them to even use the computer (he really has his finger on the pulse of P.I.s following recklessly driving teenagers). Michael says he's going to go to Enrique, a guy who used to work for Sonny on the island, for a job. They go back to the internet café, and Michael decides that he can safely send an email to Morgan, who will be allowed to tell only Molly about their whereabouts. Kristina thinks that works.
