Welcome to ''General Hospital: Night Shift,'' where the doctors are prescribing something sexy, funny, dangerous and different.

The big couple to watch are Robin Scorpio and Patrick Drake -- two M.D.'s who have fallen in love even though they're always at odds. She wanted desperately to be a mom; he wanted to stay a babe-chasin' bachelor surgeon. So they broke up. But it's hard to stay broken up when you're a super-couple. Passion has lead to pregnancy. Now Robin's having a baby, and Patrick is ... dealing with it the best he can.

Robin's dad, Robert Scorpio, just happens to be an international spy. After a long absence, he comes back to town and needs his daughter's help with a major crisis. But the big news is the return of FBI agent Jagger Cates, a face from Robin's past, who's dead sexy and a little bit damaged. What's not to love?
