Sami and Rafe leave the imposter at a secured location before heading to an out-of-the-way inn. They reconnect and finally make love. Despite their happiness, they know they must come up with a way to make EJ and Stefano pay for what they’ve done. Later, Rafe and Sami confront the imposter with his fake bank card, determined to link him to the DiMeras.

Taylor confronts EJ about running the drug ring that led to Troy killing Arianna. EJ admits he was in charge of the business, but he had nothing to do with Arianna’s death. In fact, the moment he found out Troy was responsible, he sold the business. He tells her he’s trying to turn his life around and be the better person she thought he could be. Taylor leaves, conflicted over whether or not to turn EJ in to the authorities. Alone, EJ recalls selling the business to Quinn.

At the hospital, Daniel is called away before Jennifer can tell him she would also like to be exclusive. Jennifer runs into her old friend, Scott, and realizes he wanted their get together to be a date. Jennifer lets him down gently, telling him she’s seeing someone right now – exclusively. Daniel overhears. Later, Jennifer confirms to Daniel that she wants to be with him – and only him.

After a nasty encounter with Kate, Chloe runs into Quinn, who comforts her. Chloe starts to relax and enjoy his company. However, her good mood is ruined when she sees Daniel and Jennifer outside the pub sharing a kiss. She later overhears Jennifer wax on to Caroline about how things are looking up in her life. Chloe tells Quinn she doesn’t want to be alone tonight, and goes back with him to his hotel. While making mad passionate love, she calls him “Daniel.”

Knowing Kate is still upset about Vivian, Stefano treats his wife to a special dinner at Chez Rouge. He assures her that he isn’t going into business with her enemy. Kate thaws towards Stefano but swears she’s not done with Vivian yet.
