: Born Tiffany Amber Thiessen, she later went with just "Tiffani." Dad was a park designer and mom a homemaker, but she had an uncle in showbiz who suggested Tiffani try acting and modeling. She took to it right away (remember her in that ad for Peaches and Cream Barbie? Neither do we, but she did it). Tiffani's dated a lot of fellow thesps (including "90210" co-star Brian Austin Green). In 2005, she married actor Brady Smith.
Her two best-known roles couldn't be more different. Tiffani's first break was in the series "Saved by the Bell," where she played squeaky-clean cheerleader Kelly Kapowski. After five years, she got the part of Valerie Malone on "Beverly Hills, 90210." Val seduced every guy, made an enemy of every girl, and always got what she wanted. Since then, Tiffani has appeared in series like "Two Guys and a Girl" and "Just Shoot Me," plus the Woody Allen film "Hollywood Ending." She also starred in the short-lived 2007 show "What About Brian." Tiffani is also a director and has her own production company. One of her shorts, "Just Pray," appeared in film festivals all over the country.
Tiffani's been working to live down her goody-two-shoes "Saved by the Bell" image, even going so far as to pose nude in magazines.
