"Beverly Hills, 90210" is the teen drama that launched 1,000 TV tales of high school angst (not to mention the totally over-the-top spinoff "Melrose Place"). The show lasted the whole of the '90s, picking up on every hot-button issue you can think of and giving us more pop culture moments ("Donna Martin Graduates!") than we can even begin to list here ...

Brian grew up in North Hollywood (not far from Beverly Hills), where his father was a country-western musician. As a kid he went along on dad's gigs and gained an early interest in music and performing. Brian has one son, Kassius, with former fiancee and "90210" co-star Vanessa Marcil (aka Gina Kincaid). He was also once engaged to co-star Tiffani "Valerie Malone" Thiessen
Brian's first recurring role was on "Knots Landing," and from there it was just one more step to his career-making turn as David Silver on "Beverly Hills, 90210." (He was the only cast member actually of high-school age.) His real-life passion for music influenced his character, who became a DJ and a rapper. Since "90210," Brian's had regular roles in the sitcom "Freddie" (with Freddie Prinze Jr.) and U.K. teen drama "Stacey Stone." He's also guested on shows like "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "CSI," and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." But music, especially hip-hop, takes up a lot of his time: He has his own production company and music studio.
Brian released an album, "One Stop Carnival," in 1996. It flopped, and one review dubbed him "the poor man's Vanilla Ice" -- ouch!
