Ever since Noelle was a kid, she dreamed of being an actress. She's been married since 1990 to successful NYC restaurateur Eric Petterson, with whom she's had three kids (Forrest, Spencer, and Brock) and adopted two Labradoodles (Roxy and Ripley). Noelle also co-owns a T-shirt company, and she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
As a junior at the Baltimore School for the Arts, Noelle caught an agent's eye while trying out for a film role -- a part that turned out to be better suited for a teenage boy. But the agent remembered her, and in 1983 she became a regular on "Loving," where she played Trisha Alden McKenzie for seven years.
Noelle's also been on tons of primetime TV, from "Spin City" to "Rescue Me" to "Law & Order." And who could forget her turn as Mr. Big's ex-wife on "Sex and the City"? In May 2008, Noelle returned to daytime in another regular role, taking over the part of Lily Snyder on "As The World Turns."
Noelle kicked off her acting career on "Loving" on her 17th birthday.
