The only thing I hate about B&B is the same old storyline every single day 365 days a year. Let me refresh you, the storyline is only about the rivalry between the Forrester family and the Logan family, that's it. How sooooo boring to watch a the same thing over and over again. It is like the only writing there is on B&B.

The writers deserve the award. Since day one the storylines have just been getting better and better. Y&R is the type of show I'd like to watch everyday. Congrats:)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to all the writers of a great talented show and keep up the good work.

I watched Y&R virtually every weekday from '73-early '09. I do not even recognize it anymore and can barely watch it. Y&R did not deserve that award. If this soap gets an award, that means all of the other soaps s..k as well. Good riddance!

Y&R wouldnt have been the #1 soap for the past umpteeenth years if it didnt have good writers, actors and producers!! Y&R is the best soap on tv and every1 knows it!! Y&R deserves every award it can get its hands on! Ive been watching for years, I love it and dont miss an episode. PPL who r hating on Y&R is because they r Haters and mad becuz its better than any other soap out there! Keep up the good work!

I do agree that the writing of the Christmas Carol past, present & future with Billy & John was about the ONLY REAL, well written thing these writers HAVE produced!!! Other than that, they STINK!! Get the show back to the times of WILLIAM BELL & HIS story lines!!! The quality was extremely better!! The last name may be the same, but the writing BY FAR IS NOT!!!!! Come on Maria, get this show back to the days of your predecessors! It was the show that walked off with EVERYTHING!!!! It HAD TO!!! Now, it is the dumbest show of all!! Get this show back to my FAVORITE!!! I realize that everyone has their own way of doing things, but your is NOT WORKING!!!

The stand alone Christmas Carol episode with John Abbott guiding Billy Abbott through the past, present and future of his life, was truly awesome! Great writing and great acting! You are the BEST of the best Y&R.

There are a lot of comments about Y&R winnings. In their defense, I don't think that the cast should be penalized for the writers doings/not doing. The cast have acted out their parts and "rocked".

This is crap, they do not deserve it and should have never won a award.... award for WHAT!!! for being the worst most stupid and confusing soap on tv. the ppl who voted for them must be the one's who used to watch it from early stages when there was romance and love.

The standards must be VERY LOW for an award! This, by far, is the worse year for storytelling on Y&R that I can remember and I've been watching since 1976. They're just throwing things up on the wall to see what sticks. This baby switch MUST END..Bill Bell obviously did not pass the writing gene to the rest of his family. GOD, I miss him!

Who should have won the writing award? Passions! It is the kind of storylines that I have been watching lately on Y&R that is very similar and so asinine that is is more insulting the viewers intelligent rather than providing quality entertainment led to Passions' demise. (I watched Passions from day one). Take heed Y&R writing team. .I've also watched B&B since day one. They are producing some really good storylines over there.
