Now that we're in the thick of the New Year's countdown, let us take care of telling you what soaps will be on during this holiday week for you right here.

 

On New Year's Eve (Thursday, 12/31), ABC's encore episodes will see AMC holding Stuart Chandler's funeral, OLTL bringing Mitch Laurence back from the grave, and General Hospital attending the art opening of James Franco's character.

 

Y&R and Days of our Lives air new episodes on New Year's Eve, while ALL SEVEN daytime shows will be pre-empted by football on New Year's Day.

I totally agree with you. I used to watch the soaps on holidays and be on phone at same time discussing the episodes having great time remembering the older seasons and how things on soaps change each holiday

I agree that some of the old holiday episodes would be fun to see. I loved Edward Quartermaine singing his solo version of "We Gather Together" over their Thanksgiving dinner of cold pizza last month.

What market is spoap net trying to attract? I remember back in they day, the Holiday schedule was centered around Soaps. What happened to airing some of the old soap opera episodes? I enjoyed watching the old GH shows that used to air during the Holiday. Why not show some classic Y&R or something? Why are we subject to the OC, Gilmore Girls and Beverly Hills 90210??? Let's get back to the basics. Good old Soap Operas and airing some of the old classic episodes during the Holiday Season... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.

im so happy to see greenlee comin back i cant wait she my favorite......now id like to know if jr dies will they bring babe back sumtime before that?cause we all know in soaps tehy all come back to life

Thanks, I really wanted to see the funeral of Stuart Chandler again especially since the trials of Adam and Annie just passed.

When will Adam be exposed. I am tired of him playing Sharon to get back at Nick. I think the writer got lost in left field with the stealing of Sharon baby. You know in a Mental Hosp. you can' just walk in and out. Let's wrap it up.
