Your 2010 Daytime Emmy Nominations!

Sarah Brown, General HospitalThis morning, on CBS's Early Show, One Life to Live's Bree Williamson and The Doctors's Travis Stork were on hand to announce the nominations for the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. All My Children, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and last year's champ The Bold and the Beautiful got the biggest kudos as nominees for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series. And Agnes Nixon will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. Well deserved, if you ask us.

General Hospital led the daytime drama field with 18 nominations, including acting nods for Sarah Brown (Claudia), Julie Berman (Lulu), Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), and Jonathan Jackson (Lucky). The Young & the Restless followed up with 16 nominations, while As the World Turns and One Life to Live took 13 each. Guiding Light, which ended its run in September, still scored nods for stars Crystal Chappell, Beth Chamberlin, and Zack Conroy.  The Bold and the Beautiful is once again nominated for Best Drama Series, the award it won last year.

I love Jonathan as Lucky but wish Dominic was nominated instead.

What are the 18 nominees? I only count 8. Dominic should be nomineed for outstanding supporting actor not Jonathan because he has only been on for a couple of months, unlike Dominic being on for almost a year. Wonder if they have a daytime emmy for the super couple of the year or something to that affect.

Here's the problem. The public should be voting on these nominations because we are the ones who watch it! I don't think it's right because some of us (me) have been watching 30 years! We have a say-so in who wins the emmy, shouldn't we???

WTH!!! What happened to Laura's, Steve's, and Maurice's nominations they all are great and deserve to be recognized (and win)!!! Also they are the leading actors on GH. I dont understand, but congrats to Sarah Brown though, hope Drew wins he was also great as Micheal. I love Dianes character but best female supporting Sam or Liz should had been nominated.

I can't believe it. Laura Wright should be nominated and win. Sarah Brown hasn't been as good as Laura Wright. I don't agree to the leading actress nominations.

Congrats to Sarah Brown on her Emmy Nomination and Win ;). However, I think Laura wright should have been in the Lead Actress category too. She has done a phenominal job as General Hospital's Carly. I just feel that from day one in Port Chuck she has rocked the canvas!

I thought I wasn't going to like this new Micheal but I love him. Seems a little of mature than the last. Don't care for this new Morgan. He's always crying! I can't believe judge Carroll give Micheal 5 years. Never saw that coming! Glad Dante and Lulu finally did there thing. It was beauitful! Sonny and Carly going at it again on the couch. Why I'm I surprise! :-)

I agree Laura Wright is an excellent Carly but Sarah Brown who originated the role was also a good Carly. Laura Wright did deserve to be nominated. What happened to Maurice and Steven they were robbed also

I'm sorry, but I think that Laura Wright was snubbed! She is the best Carly ever! She does an amazing job! Do not agree at all with the nominations for leading actress
