This morning, on CBS's Early Show, One Life to Live's Bree Williamson and The Doctors's Travis Stork were on hand to announce the nominations for the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. All My Children, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and last year's champ The Bold and the Beautiful got the biggest kudos as nominees for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series. And Agnes Nixon will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. Well deserved, if you ask us.
General Hospital led the daytime drama field with 18 nominations, including acting nods for Sarah Brown (Claudia), Julie Berman (Lulu), Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), and Jonathan Jackson (Lucky). The Young & the Restless followed up with 16 nominations, while As the World Turns and One Life to Live took 13 each. Guiding Light, which ended its run in September, still scored nods for stars Crystal Chappell, Beth Chamberlin, and Zack Conroy. The Bold and the Beautiful is once again nominated for Best Drama Series, the award it won last year.

Become a judge. You can go to the Emmy Awards website and apply.
I would like to see Dominic or Brandon get an award. They both are really good!!
Jonathan Jackson has not been there long enough and has not done anything spectacular..
I definitely agree with you and if I remember correctly Sarah Brown was nominated a few years back .
I do think Laura Wright definitely deserves this award, and hope somehow she will get it!!
CONGRADULATION TO ALL THE EMMY NOMINEES 2010.
I'm so proud of GH nominations. I really wish it could be a clean sweep for then but, I 'm a realist. I wish SB that played Caludia, many blessings to win that award. She is a great actress. GH, have some great people in that show. I wish the same for Spinnnili. Yes, he is a unique actor and he does his job with excellence. He should be recognize for his craft.
Diana, I love her. She out shine most of the people she's in a scene with. Not to take anything from anyone b/c the majority of the actress/ actors on GH know their STUFF.
Hopefully I will be watching and pulling for GH. BE BLESSED .
I thinkj Sarah Brown deserves to win. I'm very excited to see that Carolyn Hennessey (Diane) on GH is nominated for Best Supporting Actress - She is a hoot. She is a great actress and I always enjoy her scenes. "Spinelli" is one of the most UNIQUE characters in daytime television and deserves an Emmy for his outstanding performance.
I totally agree!
