This morning, on the "Today" show, national treasure Kathie Lee Gifford and the infinitely patient Hoda Kotb announced the nominations for the 2009 Daytime Emmy Awards. It is not a stretch to know these two things:
Baby Trevor belongs to Jake; and Babe is the character David is taking care of in Mass.
I am really disappointed, as I am every year, that GH didn't get more nominees... I think that they all deserve it. It is an awesome show with great actors and actresses and it is just wrong, in my opinion that they don't get nominated!
I hope GH wins big time this year because it is the best
Also i love OLTL to but GH is more fun then OLTL. Spenalli is the funeist charector of all I love his funny names that he calls people.I'm very excited to watch the Emmy this year and looking forward.
GH is my favorite. Great to see Jason and Sam back together. Also, hope someone finally nails Jerry.
AS much as I love GH, I don't think it should win for best show. OLTL is much better---they deal in relationships more and follow more of the characters than just the main ones. It's much better written.
Are they ever going to have the awards show??
I hope to see Debbie Morgan from All my Children win best actress.
The return of Angie and Jessie was the best thing All My Children has done in a long time.
Some really great nominations. I love GH but I'm really sick of Tony Geary winning when he is rarely there. I totally disagree with the Bradford Anderson nomination...he is so over the top I mute my TV when he is on. Christian LeBlanc is okay but not for lead...and did you notice how many nominations Days got. They haven't had this many in years. Will certainly be watching to see you get the award.
I hope that Christian LeBlanc will win, he deserves it!
This is really a great line-up and any one of them could win and would be deserving. I really hope that General Hospital will take the soap opera of all award as I really enjoy this show and the actors and actresses are GREAT.!!!!!
