"The Young and the Restless" Sneak Peek: Week of 6/29/09
Did everybody catch Friday's episode of "The Young and the Restless"? If you did, then you know the results of Sharon's paternity test are in -- and Nick is officially her baby's father. We have to admit, we secretly wanted it to be Billy's just so we could watch him freak out again. But Sharon definitely got the outcome she was hoping for all along.
Next week starts with Sharon walking on air, anticipating the expression of pure joy on Nick's face when he hears the good news. But all of that is put on hold when Sharon finds out that Summer's been rushed to the hospital. Poor little Summer. She's in really bad shape and both Nick and Phyllis are beside themselves with worry. After seeing them -- and how much Nick's other family needs him right now -- Sharon makes a rash decision. A crazy decision. A potentially life-ruining decision. Sharon's specialty, lately. Only this time, she honestly believes she's doing the right thing for everyone involved. (We'd beg to differ, but whatevs. We like the drama.)
Oh, and you know how Mary Jane gave Summer that creepy peanut-laced kiss last week? The one that set all of this mayhem in motion? Well, that was just the beginning of her psychotic plan to keep Phyllis away from Jack, and by the end of the week ... Phyllis is arrested!
Meanwhile, Cane gets nervous trying to distract the nurse at the lab long enough to switch Phillip/Langley's blood for his own. It's totally worth all the trouble, though, when the DNA test proves once and for all that he is who he says he is. And that's it. Phillip stays in Australia and Cane lives happily ever after as Jill's imposter son ...

I think everybody in the world turned it off... If they didn't they are just as stupid as the writers...Ugh... I am going to stop watching this show for the hundreth time... I totally agree with you with the Sharon and Nick... Phylis and Jack.
I really hope that you writers are reading the comments that are being posted on this website. I understand that this is supposed to have drama in it, but come on...this is entirely too much. I have heard many people say that they, including me, will stop watching this show due to the unnecessary, foolishness that's going on. Why did you let Sharon lie to Nick about the baby after all that mess they've been through?? Why is Mary Jane all up in the mix, and why are yall letting poor Ashley go on like that?? And PLEASE don't start the gay thing on this show! I'm sorry, but you writers need to do better.....after all this mess I just had to register just so I could speak my mind.
Oh yeah, The new Adam sucks... Oh yeah, I know why the old one was replaced because he wouldn't agree to today's scene... Yeah that's it!! Ugh... this is going to make me stop watching this show ever again... Sharon and Nick...okay.. Jack and Phylis... Mac and Billy...
I am so about, to stop watching "Young and the Restless" for the hundreth time... Why, are they playing these games again... Nick and Sharon should be together and Mac and Billy too. Phillip needs to return and Lily just needs to cope with Cain faking his identity and stay together. Adam really needs to get caught and Ashley is so crazy to believe Estella is doing this... This is getting on my nerves.. I am going to stop watching until someone tells me that Nick and Sharon are back together...UGH....
I am so burnt out with Ashley thinking her baby is ok. I do not like the new Adam. Put a rush on that scene and do the big one already. Please allow Nick and Sharon to finally be together. I dont want Phyllis to be alone so please let Summer wake up Phyllis is a good mother, but I dont want Nick with phyllis not at all. that will stop me from tuning in. Also , why ? would you all make Sharon tell Jack he's the father. I was so mad. Who ever wrote that need to fix it back to where Nick will find out that the baby is his. Something like when the baby is born she has a rare blood type and only Nick blood type matches when Jacks dont. BAM there it is. Dont drag it out with Phyllis finding out about what Mary Jane did. Let them two at it , I mean a real get down.
I would love if sharon and Nick get back together for good. Adam needs to get caught . I hope sharon do the right thing and nothing stupid
Unfortunately, Adam and Rafe didn't go to sleep. That Story line is so stupid! I know the point was for Rafe to quit searching his room. Not acceptable! Send Adam to prison! Let Ashley reveal what she remember about when she feel. Adams time has ended. Come on!

i'm soo sick and tired of the whole Nick and Sharon drama.. Pick one of them! Perferably Phyliss! Send Adam to Jail and Ashley to the funny farm along with MJ and keep me watching!!!
I thought that scene was hillarious when Victor Newman found that stuffed cat in Mary Janes room. The look on his face as he waved his hand across the cats eyes.
