"The Young and the Restless" Sneak Peek: Week of 6/29/09
Did everybody catch Friday's episode of "The Young and the Restless"? If you did, then you know the results of Sharon's paternity test are in -- and Nick is officially her baby's father. We have to admit, we secretly wanted it to be Billy's just so we could watch him freak out again. But Sharon definitely got the outcome she was hoping for all along.
Next week starts with Sharon walking on air, anticipating the expression of pure joy on Nick's face when he hears the good news. But all of that is put on hold when Sharon finds out that Summer's been rushed to the hospital. Poor little Summer. She's in really bad shape and both Nick and Phyllis are beside themselves with worry. After seeing them -- and how much Nick's other family needs him right now -- Sharon makes a rash decision. A crazy decision. A potentially life-ruining decision. Sharon's specialty, lately. Only this time, she honestly believes she's doing the right thing for everyone involved. (We'd beg to differ, but whatevs. We like the drama.)
Oh, and you know how Mary Jane gave Summer that creepy peanut-laced kiss last week? The one that set all of this mayhem in motion? Well, that was just the beginning of her psychotic plan to keep Phyllis away from Jack, and by the end of the week ... Phyllis is arrested!
Meanwhile, Cane gets nervous trying to distract the nurse at the lab long enough to switch Phillip/Langley's blood for his own. It's totally worth all the trouble, though, when the DNA test proves once and for all that he is who he says he is. And that's it. Phillip stays in Australia and Cane lives happily ever after as Jill's imposter son ...

Why can't Jack ever be the baby's father. Oh I know Phyllys Will get pregnant with Jack's baby, but she will say Nick is the father. Sharon is rotton for doing this to Jack.
Ok, I cannot stand to watch young and restless ANYMORE. I mean the writers must be bored, as these storylines are becoming way too much. I mean Sharon changing her mind, MaryJane and her stuffed cat??? Adam being recast and maybe gay. I do hope that these comments are read by the authors, as now I not going to watch this show and many of my co-workers think so as well.
You have just lost another viewer.Evidently you think it is alright to live in another crazy world. Why don't you think about your viewers, young and old. To take the joy of Sharon and Nick seeing their baby's results it take a sick mind to write a program like this. Your viewers deserve better than this. Get Nick and SHARON together for good and get rid of Phyllis and Mary jane. Phyllis definitely needs to be with Jack as both of them are EVIL. NIKKI AND VICTOR NEEDS TO BE TOGETHER and Adam off the program along with Mary Jane. There needs to be some happy times on these programs.
Regardless of what happens with Summer, a child should know who his father (family) is, it's as though, she has too have a man in her life. Then you wonder, what kind of lives that these writers live. It's important to make it known, to your children, who their family are, because, you never know, who may meet in this world and fall in love with and that can be very devastating.
I've been watching Y&R 4 a long time and I finally thought that Sharon &Nick were finally going 2 seal the reunion with baby and you all switch it up. Jack and Sharon don't even fit together.phyllis and jack more match with each other. As far as trying to put the gay seen in ,who thought of that ,not the way to go,it didn't even make sence. I really dislike that part.What's going on can't think right now .Make this right .I'm tired of fast forwarding my recordings.
I will not be watching the y& r for a couple of weeks. Y& R has gone off the deep end . Jack , Sharon , Nick , Phyllis let it end. Let there be happy couples on y&r.The baby is Nick tell Nick let him and Sharon be happy. Do you think viewers want to see sick and crazy all the time? We look at Y&R for enjoyment. We live sick and crazy.Give us good marriage when there are kids.

Re Y&R. . . are they copying the same story line as OLTL, which dragged on and on and on and on. . YAWN!!! something will happen to sharon's baby and the baby will need blood or whatever and nick will be the only one to save her. . . OR maryjane will do something to sharon to cause an accident so she can have that pathetic Jack and nick will still have to come to the rescue. . why can't sharon just tell nick he is the father?. . he is not going to abandon summer.adam needs to get caught and doesn't ashley know that baby is DEAD !? Mac does need to go. . this chick is not too cute, looks a lot older than billy anyway. . who is maryjane anyway?? as far as rafe and adam YUK!!! major turnoff !
i do not want to see nick with sharon. i am so sick of her. just go to jack and stay with him. yes i do not like the new adam either. mac should be with raul. mary jane is such a physco. if sharon ends up with nick i will stop watching or i guess i will just fast forward the scenes.
I am sooo disillushioned with Y&R. Today's episode was the final straw. The writers must be burnt out because these sl's are cold as ice. Your comments mirror my reactions and I just registered to be able to put my disatisfaction and disgust in print. Adam/Ashley sl needs to end. Sharon/Nick/jack/Phyllis sl is out of control. Billy/Mac?Chloe is.....ok. Cane/Lilli storyline looks to be leading to another disaster...... I know soaps are designed for drama, but, OMG......
