"The Young and the Restless" Sneak Peek: Week of 6/29/09
Did everybody catch Friday's episode of "The Young and the Restless"? If you did, then you know the results of Sharon's paternity test are in -- and Nick is officially her baby's father. We have to admit, we secretly wanted it to be Billy's just so we could watch him freak out again. But Sharon definitely got the outcome she was hoping for all along.
Next week starts with Sharon walking on air, anticipating the expression of pure joy on Nick's face when he hears the good news. But all of that is put on hold when Sharon finds out that Summer's been rushed to the hospital. Poor little Summer. She's in really bad shape and both Nick and Phyllis are beside themselves with worry. After seeing them -- and how much Nick's other family needs him right now -- Sharon makes a rash decision. A crazy decision. A potentially life-ruining decision. Sharon's specialty, lately. Only this time, she honestly believes she's doing the right thing for everyone involved. (We'd beg to differ, but whatevs. We like the drama.)
Oh, and you know how Mary Jane gave Summer that creepy peanut-laced kiss last week? The one that set all of this mayhem in motion? Well, that was just the beginning of her psychotic plan to keep Phyllis away from Jack, and by the end of the week ... Phyllis is arrested!
Meanwhile, Cane gets nervous trying to distract the nurse at the lab long enough to switch Phillip/Langley's blood for his own. It's totally worth all the trouble, though, when the DNA test proves once and for all that he is who he says he is. And that's it. Phillip stays in Australia and Cane lives happily ever after as Jill's imposter son ...

the writers suck nick and sharon belong together it was crappy to have nick wanting him and sharon to have a baby togrther and these crazy writers come in and screw it up. have summer wake up and jack be the father and have nick and sharon be a happy couple i wished i could email sharon and nick and tell the how much i want thewm together
Ok, what part of 2009 do you not understand? I think Adam got exactly what he deserved. He's hoared himself into a corner and I can't think of a better person for it to happen to.
i cant belive Sharon lying to Nick about Jack being the father of the baby she is so stupid she needs to go ahead and tell him he is father. And iam so sick of Ashley walking aroung likea dit brain still thinking she is pregnant come on people give this girl a clue and please stop the gay role they have put into with adam and raf please dont do this please it sick and iam apauled
Okay, for everyone having a fit over young in the restless, chill out. You fail to realize that it's a soap. Soaps are to have drama. If you were to keep niki with victor, sharon with nic and phyllis with jack that would be too much like right and it wouldn't be nothing. Come on, I like how it was switched up because, believe it or not even though y&r is not real some of this is reality in people's jacked up lives. You would really quit because it's not going how you would write the show. Only thing I didn't like was the gay thing. I have no right to bash or say anything bad about anyone's choice but for the show, that was a little too much. The people mad about what's written need to become the writer. Bet it's not that easy.
I think Ashley was pregnant with twins we all know she lost one I think Adam is in for a big surprise. Did you see Victors face when he found that stuffed dead cat named kitty that Mary Jane pets, kisses and talks too.

I work with 21 ladies and we've always taken our lunch hour to watch WELL, not anymore we will not watch... PLEASE get new writers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phyills is not a good actress,..
and Sharon and Nick belong together,... and Ashsley has given birth before so PLEASE........ Listen to your viewers
I am more appaulled and disgusted with Y&R than I can even put into words. Come on folks, Adam and Raif? I have been a fan of Y&R for 30+ years and now I don't think I will watch any longer. I realize this is no longer a Christian nation and has not been for quite some time but for Y&R to stoop to this level is beyond comprehension. The writers need to read their Bible, God speaks against same sex couples, it is a sin. They will have to answer to God someday. I am proud of the former Adam for standing his ground and not playing the role, SHAME SHAME SHAME... on Y&R for re-casting the role and going ahead with the scene. BTW- the new Adam stinks, bring the former Adam back!
