"The Young and the Restless" Sneak Peek: Week of 6/29/09
Did everybody catch Friday's episode of "The Young and the Restless"? If you did, then you know the results of Sharon's paternity test are in -- and Nick is officially her baby's father. We have to admit, we secretly wanted it to be Billy's just so we could watch him freak out again. But Sharon definitely got the outcome she was hoping for all along.
Next week starts with Sharon walking on air, anticipating the expression of pure joy on Nick's face when he hears the good news. But all of that is put on hold when Sharon finds out that Summer's been rushed to the hospital. Poor little Summer. She's in really bad shape and both Nick and Phyllis are beside themselves with worry. After seeing them -- and how much Nick's other family needs him right now -- Sharon makes a rash decision. A crazy decision. A potentially life-ruining decision. Sharon's specialty, lately. Only this time, she honestly believes she's doing the right thing for everyone involved. (We'd beg to differ, but whatevs. We like the drama.)
Oh, and you know how Mary Jane gave Summer that creepy peanut-laced kiss last week? The one that set all of this mayhem in motion? Well, that was just the beginning of her psychotic plan to keep Phyllis away from Jack, and by the end of the week ... Phyllis is arrested!
Meanwhile, Cane gets nervous trying to distract the nurse at the lab long enough to switch Phillip/Langley's blood for his own. It's totally worth all the trouble, though, when the DNA test proves once and for all that he is who he says he is. And that's it. Phillip stays in Australia and Cane lives happily ever after as Jill's imposter son ...

I feel everything the other fans have commented on. Adam is just like his father in some ways. he doesn't except responsibility for his actions. he blames everything on victor for his condition. please hurry and bring this episode of the Newmans to an end. Adam needs to go back to jail. the writers on this soap are living out their real lives on tv. why make ashley look stupid and dumb??? granted she is used to having her way. nick and phyllis should be together and jack and sharon should be together without the lies. WRITERS GET YOUR THOUGHS TOGETHER AND BRING BACK THE OLD Y & R THAT HAS KEPT THE RATINGS HIGH.
The whole Nick and Sharon situation just bothers me!!! I know the drama needs to keep going but couldn't they find another way of making that happen?!
I cannot believe Sharon lied to Nicholas and Jack! I know she feels bad for Summer but she should have at least be homost with Nicholas, and gave him the time he needed with his daughter withought having to lie and make Jack believe he is the father! And Billy and Mac they so need to stop...Chloe deserves to find someone better let the ugly mac deal with billy's drama! As for the physco i cant believe the extremes that lady goes to for Jack!
nick and sharon need to stay together. and the gay thing needs to go even with rafe, and and mac needs to go,and victor needs to shut down gloria and jeffery and jill needs to know the truth about cane, and phyillis needs to quit saying how much sharon has ruined her marriage when she ruined nick and sharon's marriage
I think Sharon has lost her mind she has worked too hard to get Nick back. I hope that Nick realize the truth and ask for the proof and let Sharon know that he is really there for her.
I have been watching Y & R every since its been on the air, I live for this show. I really dont like the idea that you have to make Adams role gay, also the new Adam sucks, bring back the other one.Sharon was very wrong for what she did, its Jack and Phyllis that will be the ones who have to suffer though it and Summer. Send Mac away, Chole doesnt deserve this.Mary Jane needs to be deault with.
I am so upset from the things that have gone on this week. I have watched Y&R since I was a little girl and I can remember how much I loved Nick and Sharon. Haven't they been through enough? If they can't be together then I'm done watching for good. I understand that this is a daytime DRAMA, but there must be a calm in the storm or the story goes terribly bad. I was completely hurt and depressed when Sharon made the decision to tell Jack that the baby was his...THIS IS AWEFUL!!! Please fix this or you will have lost a lifetime viewer. This show is so full of destruction and hopelesness now.....I can't take anymore of it. Sharon and Nick should be together and he should know now that the baby is his. Jack shouldn't have to believe that the baby is his any longer...it will only make it harder on him. The Adam thing has drug out long enough, but I'm not even interested in that area of the story.....JUST FIX NICK AND SHARON!!!!!
Patty Williams is Mary Jane. Or that is at least what the writers were hinting at when they had Paul feeling something familiar and protective about her and then Jack told Phylis about how he got the three bullet holes in his body because he was shot by a woman(Patty Williams) who loved him too much and he treated her so badly. But the writers of course can and probably will change their minds if you give them five minutes. So you may be right but I don't know how they could possibly bring Cassandra back from the dead because of the way she was written out.
Who knows?
Get rid of the new Adam, get the old one back. This show is going down hill fast!!!
i think that it has been a long waiting for sharon and nick to get back together. enough already sharon needs to tell nick that he is the father of her baby. mary jane is quack she needs to go, done had enough of her. and as for the new adam and the whole gay scene is completely out of line and character. billy belongs with chloe
