I have been watching Y&R since before I was 10 years old. I am now 42. These past few years of Y&R have been written by the worse writers ever. Y&R has been winning awards for years but the current writers have written themselves into so many corners that they obviously never watched any old episodes to understand the complexities of Y&R's many families. I do like that they are sticking it to Nina by bringing Philip back. Any man that would fake is own death to avoid being with her shows that she was not a worthy wife. Nina's characther has always been a whiny annoyance & it will be good when Philip tells her it was because of her that he faked being dead for nearly 20 years. In your face Nina. Lily needs to understand that Cain has always said "my name is Cain Ashby." Even when Jill begged him to change his name he refused. Sharon's character needs a backbone for once. Phyllis used sex to get Nick but Sharon & Nick belong together as the DNA proves he is the father. Nick needs to tell Jack he is sorry but Summer is Jack's daughter and he was distraught over losing Cassie that he lied about the DNA test. The skank Phyllis wanted to believe it was Nick's baby so she never looked at the DNA results. What kind of mother doesn't look at the test results? Even on Maury they look at the tests. How many months can Ashley carry a dead fetus in her before she gets toxic and dies. The new Adam sucks and even though I am not homophobic, it goes beyond reason that he would have sex with a man to cover up his deviant behaviour towards Victor & victimizing Ashley. I can't wait until Heather gets the truth that Adam is a sadistic freak who belongs under a jail. She is ignorant & should be fired. How many times can Heather get away with false accusations with no basis & continue being a DA? Ashley needs psychiatric help to believe in Adam & not realize she is no longer pregnant. No Dr. appointments with sonograms even though she is much too old to be pregnant?? Get real. She would have been going to her OB/GYN more frequently being that she is almost 50 and pregnant. Alright, enough rambling. Wait, when are they going to re-test Jill to determine there was a mistake with her DNA & she really is Kay's daughter, therefore, Billy & Mac are cousins & is involved in an incestuous relationship? I hope when they realize it, Chloe has moved on & fell in love with somone who will treat her well, even though she is a bit off also. enough

I really wish they would move on with Adam and have Victor figure out tht it was Adam trying to make Ashley thnk she was losing her mind! Move on with this story line!!!!

lily need to grow up and believe in her man, not run at the first little disturbance,cane is not a bad guy, he has to have some relations to jill or the abbotts, how else could have his own dna be a match to delia and billy's, remember this one was done in front of lily and the guy who took it, put it immediatly in an envelope, sealed it and took it with him personaly

I so agree with most of what u said, Cane is a great guy and i really adored Lily and him together, they look adorable and perfect, i know that he lied and everything but deep down he is a good guy. I was pissed off b cuz of what Sharon did and i also vowed to myself that i would never watch another episode which i eventually did, i guessed i am hooked. too much people are breaking up in the show, and the writer is making this drama too drawn out and boring, bring back the perfect couples back together and get rid of the manipulators, ALSO i did not like the part where gay plays a part in the episode, that is disgusting, pls bring back some love and fun in the show.

Y & R writers are making Lily and Sharon characters boring.
They deserve better. Cane & Lily and Shaon & Nick belong
together. Phillis, Mary Jane and Ashley need to be removed
from the show. We need some happy couples on this show.
Victor & Nikki need to be together too. The strorylines are dragged-0ut too long. It's time for change!

I have been a fan of young and the restless for years, I am disappointed in Sharon saying the baby is Jack's. Why has Victor been so fooled by Adam and Mary Jane? As Smart as he is supposed to be, how can u guys allow this to happen. Truly a fan for life.

Has anyone else noticed how poor an actor this new Adam is.. he is painful to watch and sticks out like a sore thumb. I am so sick of his mess...and the gay twist...looks like a desperate attempt by the writers to add some new drama... well guess what writers......NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely hate what Mar Jane did to Summer- but absolutely love that this tragedy will bring Nick and Phylis closer together, though i must also say that I hate what Sharon is doing to Jack. Sharon is at it again- lies and deceit, this pretentious character has nothing on phylis cause with phylis what u see is what u get. Phylick all da way!! Cant wait for their reunion!!!
