Congrats to AMC I have watched the show for over 25 years. I hope to watch it another 25!

I guess ANY SOAP other than Y&R could win!!! The writers on Y&R are the worst in soap history, now!! Where they USED to be the very BEST!! I think most of the old fans are now going some place else for their entertainment! I know I have!! I really would hate see it go down like GL, but since the writers do not have the good sense to even THINK about what the fans feel, that is probably what will happen in the long run!! I just wish that the writers & producers would take heed & get this story back to the quality it was in past years! GET THIS ADAM & SHARON THING OVER ALREADY!!!!!!! IT MAKES EVERYONE"S STOMACH TURN!!! MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME TO "AS THE STOMACH TURNS "!! I DO NOT WATCH ANY MORE, BUT I DO CHECK THE COMMENTS TO SEE IF ANYTHING HAS CHANGED SO THAT I COULD GET BACK TO MY USED TO BE FAVORITE SHOW!!..... You also need to get this baby swapping thing found out & get Ashley out of the picture! She never was much of a character on the show unless she was messing over her sister or NIkki or playing the helpless thing with Victor!!! Hope you wake up & smell the roses before it is too late!!

I can't believe that cbs is losing another soap. I live in the est and 1st the replaced the guiding light time slot with dr phil which was an insult to all of the soap fans out there. You put dr phil needs above the 1st soap ever on tv. You moved gl to 10am so dr phil can be on at 3pm and now gl is no longer on tv. We see where cbs priorities are. Now atwt is leaving tv. What is going on with the cbs soaps? There will be 2 left. The Y&R and B&B. I watch the Y&R at night on soapnet channel and let me tell that they need new writers. the story with adam is do predictable its so stupid. Come on, you mean to tell me that all of these charaters are so dumb that they cannot see what kind of person he is. Please get new writers or new story line already. It's BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I know this award is a bunch of crapola. OLTL has the worst writing in the history of soaps with Y&R coming in a close second.

I think the writers of the Y&R are insane. THe storyline with Adam
Adam is completely insane and mad man.
In order to get back at his father Victor Newman, He has his wife Ashley have a tragic accident where she loses her baby.
Then he covers it up byblackmailing Ashley's doctor into telling her that her baby is fine.He steals Sharon"s baby and gives it to Ashley.
In a mental hospital the doctor tells Sharon that her baby died, because Adam blackmailed him.
There are alot of mental ill people in this world . These insane people might to insane enough totry something they saw someone get away with on television. I really think that the writers should think about what people will be watching on their soap.
This storyline is over the top of morality and common sense .

shley so he takes Sharon's baby and gives the baby to Ashley.He tells Sharon that her baby died. He makes Ashley beleive that she gave birth when he baby has been dead for months.

How sick is that. I have stopped watching the Y&R because of this insane storyline. I had watched the Y& R for 25 years.

I feel this storyline is totally insane.
