What else? Kay's (Jeanne Cooper) identity crisis gained even more momentum after she got a few allies on her side, and we were treated to one of Amber (Adrienne Frantz) and Kevin's (Greg Rikaart) famous madcap adventures as they broke into the pawn shop to retrieve evidence for Kay's case.
Victor's (Eric Braeden) relationship with Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was going full force, as were his conflicts with both Brad and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Plus, the countdown to Chloe's (Elizabeth Hendrickson) due date was making everybody wonder who would end up playing daddy to her baby: Cane (Daniel Goddard) or Billy (Billy Miller)?
Oh, and Nick and Sharon's son, Noah (Kevin Schmidt) learned a hard lesson about teenage rebellion when he snuck out during a blizzard and fell through the ice of a frozen lake. Luckily, Brad's car just happened to stall nearby -- setting him up for one heck of a heroic rescue.
Truly an incredible, heart-stopping week of action. But it didn't stop there. All of those stories carried through since then, and our hearts broke knowing that Brad gave up his own life to save Noah's (OMG, that moment when we saw his frozen body under the ice literally took our breath away!).
