Candy Slams Tori via TMZ

What'd you do this beautiful summer weekend? Barbecue? Hit the beach? Take in a movie with friends?
Candy Spelling spent her time off penning an open letter to her daughter, a "middle-aged reality star," for publishing on TMZ.com.
Ah. Refreshing.
In it, the wife of late TV mogul Aaron Spelling accuses her daughter of using her family as "props" in her reality show, "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." Candy continues that she eventually declined an invitation to her granddaughter Stella's first birthday party (set to air in an upcoming episode of the Oxygen series) because "I decided my first meeting with my granddaughter should be on home video, not primetime cable."

Personally, I think Candy has severe problems.... Isn't she the adult?? Shouldn't she be the mature one and put all matters aside! This is her ONLY daughter!! Whether or not she agree's with Tori's choices in life, she should try to be supportive, to the best of her ability! I am sure that they are both at fault for their issues and they need to come to a mutual understanding! From what I have seen, Tori seems to be more willing to make amends!
They are both nuts who need to cut all ties with each other. I agree that Candy is a bitch for saying that, but what she said about Tori is true. Tori couldn't cut it in Hollywood so she had to resort to reality and trashy tabloid feuds with her mother to retain her celebrity status.
I cannot believe a mother would do that to her child. Dean was right, Tori needs to break all ties with this woman. Tori doesn't need her or her damned money, which is all mommy dearest has left. No man would want her if she didn't have Aaron's cash.
I think its a SHAME that Candy is acting like she is. My daddy died without knowing his granddaughter because her mother was a real.....well we all know what Im talking about. One day Candy will be sorry for the way she is acting. Its so sad to see. In the long run its only hurting the kids, they will one day want to know why Grandma Candy didnt love them enough to come and see them and forget about the feud with Tori. The feud is Stupid and Petty.
Where does Candy get off? She's the one who started this correspondence through the media. Now, she has the nerve to say that Tori is using the situation to bolster her reality show. Sounds to me like Candy has NOTHING going on in her life. She is grasping at straws. The lowest blow had to be when she had Chelsea Handler visit her home on a show. That move was a total slap in the face to Tori. Tori is the one who remains classy. I hope she doesn't stoop to her mother's level and that she continues to hold her head up and be brave. Her mother is the one that is losing out in the end. She may die a very lonely death without family around. . .
