Weekly Crush: Michael E. Knight

Our weekly crush is Michael E. KnightWe here at SOAPnet were watching recent All My Children episodes where Tad decides to legal adopt his newly discovered (and kind of troublesome) son, Damon, and we got to thinking: Tad is just awesome. He's a stand up guy, a great dad, funny as all get out and adorable. And this is all due to Michael E. Knight's fantastic performance, day in and day out. Michael made us fall in love with Tad, and him, since joining the show back in 1983. So, obviously, he had to be our weekly crush!

I've been a MEK fan since he first appeared in 1983. Anyone who remembers Marcy Walker would agree that there is absolutely no chemistry between him and the current Liza. She is so out of the range of actresses that have played his love interests in the past in both appearance and manner. As for Tad ... he can do no wrong -- especially when he's doing so. Like the idea that he is slowly stepping into the pater familiaris role than Joe previously held.

AND HE'S SINGLE IN REAL LIFE UNLESS HE'S SECRETLY WITH SOMEONE, ALWAYS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE CHARACTERS, WOULD HAVE MADE A FABULOUS FATHER BUT TO MY KNOWLEDGE HAS NEVER HAD CHILDREN.
