Weekly Crush: Brett Claywell
If you've been following our One Life to Live coverage even a little bit, you know we are big fans of the Oliver Fish/Kyle Lewis romance. When the storyline first started, we admit our attention was focused almost entirely on Fish. He had the big coming-out story, after all, and Scott Evans had been on the show longer and has the famous brother and all. But Kyle steadily began drawing more and more of our attention -- part of that was his story growing more diverse (a relationship with Nick; a friendship with Roxy), but we have to admit another part of that was Brett Claywell being a great actor and just all-around crushworthy. And that, ladies and gents, is why God created Weekly Crush galleries.

I am so hooked on Scott "The Fish" Evans. I have been watching OLTL for 40 years and this is indeed the best storyline ever. I hope that they "he and Kyle" have a long life to live on this show. If this storyline was written when I was a teen I'm sure it would have saved me alot of money from my therapy sessions as I would have had a positive gay role model like a Cop and a Doctor. OLTL you ROCK.

I think Brett is just adorable ... I would love to see Kyle and Roxy have an unexpected "romp" ... I like their friendship too.
I think the Kyle & Oliver coupling is HOT! It shows OLTL is in touch with the real world and should be applauded. The scene with Roxy jumping in bed between them on New Years day was genius and just plain fun. Except for Kim and Stacy, I am hooked on OLTL!

Scott Evans is the younger brother of Chris Evans (Johnny Storm- the Human Torch in the Fantastic Four movies) Scott was "outed" by his brother in several interviews prior to Scott appearing on OLTL. Scott is openly gay and has stated that there was immediate chemistry between him and Brett Claywell (who is straight) that enables them to pay off each other so believably. Brett has stated that "playing a romantic role with a male is really no different than with a female- the biggest difference is stubble". I thought that was brilliant!!
His brother is Chris Evans. He was in the Fantastic Four movies. They look alot alike- Chris may be thinner and leaner.
