Two New Arrivals on Wisteria Lane

We recently reported that Drea de Matteo was joining the cast of "Desperate Housewives" -- and now, the rest of her "family" has filled out. And by "family," we don't mean the Cosa Nostra kind Drea was used to when she was on the "Sopranos" ... although we can't wait to see what kind of shady trouble these people bring to Wisteria Lane.

TV Guide is reporting that Jeffrey Nordling -- having just wrapped up his role as agent Larry Moss on "24" -- has been cast as Drea's landscaper husband (who knows; he may need that covert op experience to figure out what's going on in the neighborhood). Beau Mirchoff, who was last seen on "Dirt" and "Once & Again," has been cast as Drea and Jeffrey's son. It's possible Beau may act as a love interest for Susan's daughter Julie, played by Andrea Bowen, who we reported last week was returning to the cast after being largely absent last season.

We're all going to have to wait to see how these casting machinations play out until "Desperate" begins its sixth season on Sunday, September 27th. Stay tuned!
