For many people, this headline might be a big "duh!" But for those who don't know, "All My Children" star Thorsten Kaye (Zach) loves hockey. Like, really loves hockey. His team of choice is the Detroit Red Wings. His passion for the game has even bled over to his character: You'll frequently see Zach in a Red Wings t-shirt or various paraphernalia. Totally Thorsten's suggestions.

Well, now he's taken his love of the rink to a new career path: professional blogger! Thorsten's got his own fan blog on the NHL's website. On it, he chronicles his thoughts on the Red Wings as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins for the Stanley Cup (the last game in the finals is on June 7). It's a really cool blog -- there's commenting, pics of Thorsten at games, and even has an interview between Thorsten and legendary Red Wings player Ted Lindsay. We're not really in the know about hockey, but we love the blog.

Okay, that's a lie. We DO know about hockey. Well, all about the slapping and sex that happens outside the rink. If the new SOAPnet series "MVP" is any indication of what life in the professional hockey world is like, sign us up for the next game! Although we wonder what Thorsten would think about the shenanigans of the Mustangs, the fictional team at the show's center?
