The Young and the Restless: Week in Review for October 11, 2010
Another week of The Young and the Restless, another batch of memorable moments both scandalous and wonderful. Read our favorites below, and let us know what yours were!
Best Moment: Murphy wakes up! We know, he's trapped in his body, unable to name his assailant, but considering the decision Mrs. C was up against prior to his awakening, this was a huge relief.
Funniest Moment: The claws were out in Genoa City this week -- we loved the quips Diane elicited from just about every woman she came across! But when it comes to vicious wars of words, we have to give the award this week to Phyllis and Adam. When she tried to seduce him, and he called her bluff, only to have her then make out with him? Great stuff.
WTH? Moment: Victor believed Nikki wasn't drunk? what, did he think that was a trendy new 'do she was testing out?
Runner-up: Tucker hires Diane! Sure, we guess she needed a reason to stay. But it seemed a bit ... hasty?
Performer of the Week: We thought Daniel Goddard did a great job as a good man trapped in a bad situation. That said, he better start telling Lily the truth -- she can only forgive his secrecy so many times.
Why We Love The Young and the Restless This Week: Chloe's snooping on Kevin, the cow mafia finally shows its face, Sofia and Neil are getting along, Adam rips off his shirt in a barn, and OMG! Is JT going to make it? There's always something for everyone in Genoa City!

i like kay and murry they need to do something with maggie. i dont knanow who she is or what she has to do with murry and nick and sharon needs to be back together. and adam should be in jail. and so does maggie.
I feel that Meggie and Duncan should be caught, Her getting Nikki geto drink again is terrible and she is very wrong for what she did to Murphy...She need to be stopped...And can we soon see a reunion with Nick and Shaorn they belong together....
maggie has 2 b stoped and that is crasy for them 2 out her on causing more problems the newman family has been thru enough already
Loved the Murphy story - and am intrigued by Sofia and Neil story - I'd like to see where that goes. Can't wait for a Diane / Phyllis battle - you know it's coming!
But, for me, the best moments were in the Billy and Victoria scenes. Billy has shown that he'll bend over backwards for Victoria, but she showed that she could back him and be strong for him. I thought their scenes were incredibly heartfelt and sweet. The perfect blend of seriousness and humor.
I am sooooo sick of Nick and Sharon, they need to move on.
I just dont get it, Adam a hero give me a break. He needs to pay for all the thigns he has done. I don't get the where the writer of Y&R are coming from, never have I ever fast forward through the show and lately that all I've been doing, Nikki drinking and can't taste alcohol in her drink and Maggie she has no purpose please write her off she does nothing for the show please put and end to that and let murphy live to tell who she really is her and Victor can't see it
I'm tired of waiting for Sharon and Nick to re-unite.
Jack and Phyllis seem to be getting back to together, and I'm loving it, they're perfect together in more ways then one.
I wish that Nikki wouldn't have started drinking again, it's boring.
I enjoyed a number of things about the show. I really couldn't pick one. Some of my favorite moments were Billy's scenes with John, Ashley and Victoria in the chapel and later at home with Victoria. CBS ran older episodes this week, and seeing the New Year's Eve episode again along with the new episode showing Billy's struggle to not run away from the sadness and loss he's had recently reminded me of the great job the writers have done showing Billy's evolution this year. I love that they're continuing to tell that story for him.
Performer of the week for me (again) was MTS as Nikki. I hope she's having as much fun with Nikki's fall off the wagon as I'm having watching it. Whether she's drunk, hungover, or stone cold sober, there's nothing that actress isn't doing well.
I loved Adam this week, with the shirt and without. I always do.
I FEEL SO BAD FOR NIKKI! MEGGIE AND DEACON SHOULD BOTH BE HUNG ON MEATHOOKS!!!!!
There definitely was not enough Billy and Victoria scenes this week but I did love the ones we got. Funniest moment for me was Billy's "Father Knows Best" glasses. I almost fell off my couch laughing when I saw those! Best moment of the week was the scene with Billy, Ashley, and Victoria in the chapel when Billy said that Victoria is the best thing that ever happened to him. Then I loved that Victoria let him know that she was there for him and would do anything he needs to make him feel better. I just love these two!
