The Young and the Restless: Week in Review for January 17, 2011
Another week of The Young and the Restless, another batch of memorable moments both scandalous and wonderful. Read our favorites below, and let us know what yours were!
Best Moment: Sharon tells the Newmans to take a look at their own messed-up lives. They're not going to do it, of course, but darned if we weren't happy to hear someone say it.
Also -- as nervous as we are about their future as a family (Daniel's flashback!), we loved seeing Billy, Victoria, and baby Lucy bond this week.
Funniest Moment: Kay walks in on Colin and Jill and proceeds to confront the Aussie while he sports a pink satin bathrobe.
We're not sure WHY Jill stills lives in the Chancellor house (she's a Fenmore now, and she has a job) but we're not going to ask questions if it means more hilarious interactions like this one.
WTH? Moment: Now Sharon is a suspect in Skye's "murder"? The dirty cops may be gone from Genoa City, but unfortunately, they were replaced by the keystone cops.
Performer of the Week: Emily O'Brien was the picture of desperation as Jana this week. And while we think what Jana's doing is deplorable, Emily's performance helps us understand why she's doing it ... she really does love and miss Kevin, in her own twisted way.
Why We Love The Young and the Restless This Week: Cane's secrets are finally coming out. We want the Aussie contingent to get all the cards on the table so we can sort out just what happened in their past.

Its time for Sharon to get hit by a car. She is a flake.....Her going to jail, while in there she should get beat. Black eyes and everything. In attention to the district attorney.....I like Rowan and the scene with him and Nina was excellent....
Adam is certainly Victor's son. Remember when Victor had his first wife's lover in a cage in his basement? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. And have we forgotten Phyllis running Paul down with her car trying to kill Cricket?
Cane is so stupid why not tell his wife about what he is hiding it would be better for him for both Lily and his happiness
I'm about sick of Adam and Sharon story line boring. Danny if you have gotten your memory back i hope you see that Lucy is better off with Billy and Victoria here hoping that he do not know that Lucy is his baby.. Real sick of Cain and his lies please end this story line it's getting boring too. Jill poor Jill is so "Man" hungry. Jana is crazy but i somewhat like her... Kevin and Chole jury still out on this one...
I thought pyschiatrists were suppose to help people face the truth and move on...not pressure people to lie.

Doesn't anyone remember when Victor caused Ashley to lose her baby among others and Ashley forgave and they got remarried and pregnant! And why doesn't anyone acknowledge the fact of how horrible it is to treat your own child the way Victor is treating Adam! No matter what he has done there is nothing that should cause you to give up on your child! Especially after the way Victor abandoned him his whole life! Adam would not have even done most of the things he has done if it was not for Victor's rejection! Ihate Victor for the way he is constantly evil and selfish in his ways and treats his family like crap! He deserves to be punished and I am sick of watching him always getting his way underhandedly. He is a great actor and I used to like his character but not anymore!

I am not much for Soaps, Y&R is the only one I like due to the fact I grew up with some of the characters. I really think the writers are way out of line. Sharon now arrested for murder! I like Sharon and Adam. I am sick of the Newman's and I hope Daniel gets Lucy. Daisy should be in Prison and Nicky makes me want to throw up after all the wrong doings she has been involved in. Phyllis is another one! I know it is only a SOAP and nobody can be happy! but in the real world none of this would be happening. Sharon and Adam and Faith belong together far as I am concerned. I will keep watching the drama....
