The Young and the Restless: Week in Review for December 6, 2010
Another week of The Young and the Restless, another batch of memorable moments both scandalous and wonderful. Read our favorites below, and let us know what yours were!
Best Moment: Adam's fight with Jack and Nick. INTENSE, right? Jack may have thrown the punch, but Adam got some licks in too -- calling the men out on their fickle friendship, and labeling Phyllis a "pyscho b!@%$"? It was the most meaningful skirmish in a day full of them.
Funniest Moment: Cat fight, obviously! And just when you think they've run out of ways for ladies to duke it out in daytime, enter the chocolate fountain. Well played, Y&R.
WTH? Moment: Jana calling child services. Not only was it super uncool, there was no way it was ever going to achieve whatever crazy thing Jana wanted it to -- because CLEARLY, Chloe and Kevin did nothing wrong. And now she's trying to work with Daisy? We thought Jana was off her rocker when she fell for Ryder, but now she's really lost it.
Performer of the Week: Sharon Case, just for taking the beating Sharon Newman did this week! Wow you guys, everyone in town just unleashed on her -- even sweet Kay! OK, she deserved some of it, but considering the glass houses these people live in, those stones were flying a little too frequently.
Why We Love The Young and the Restless This Week: Colin is Cane's dad! This is a new development that we're curious about. And are we crazy for starting to sympathize with Daisy? Do you guys think she's sincere, or does she have something up her sleeve?

A different point of view on Sharon and Adam: he is drawn to Sharon mostly because she resembles his mother, Hope. Not just physically, but spiritually and psychologically. His love for her may be extreme, but it is sincere. Sharon gets that, that's why she cuts him more slack than we would.
Also, when they were married, Adam never cheated on Sharon. Both Nick and Jack did when they were married to her. Sharon appreciates the difference.
Adam is no murderer - he has a line in the sand. Obviously, he did not kill Sky. He paid Patty $25,000 to leave Genoa City(which she did) when he easily could have killed her. He let Sharon talk him out of killing Richard Hightower. And, he felt sufficient remorse for Ashley's miscarriage that he got her a replacement baby (Faith). And he did save Eden and Noah from the fire set by Daisy, as well as Faith's life during the recent hurricane.
Adam frustrates lots of folks in Genoa City because they imagine bad people are uniformly evil, but he does not fit the mold.
THEY NEED NEW WRITERS FOR Y&R. NO ONE IN THIER RIGHT MIND WOULD AGREE WITH WHAT SHARON IS DOING. I GREW UP WATCHING Y&R, B&B, AS THE WORLD TURNS & GUIDING LIGHT. TWO OF THOSE ARE NO LONGER SHOWING IN MY AREA DUE TO A LACK OF VIEWERSHIP AND NOW THEY WILL LOOSE MORE VIEWERS WITH THIS TERRIBLE STORYLINE. I HATE THIS AND WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT THIS SHOW. IF BROOKE AND HER STEPSON START A RELATIONSHIP I"LL JUMP SHIP FROM THAT SHOW AS WELL AAND AFTER 30 + YEARS OF WATCHING CBS SOAPS I"LL SWITCH TO ANOTHER CHANNEL. GET IT TOGETHER THIS IS NOT ENTERTAINMENT.
Adam should be arrested and go to jail - What happen to Patty and Dr. Peterson? Sharon is everything Phyllis has written in Restless Style. It is just unacceptable for a woman to fall in love with a man who led me to belive my child was dead and made poor Ashley have a miscarriage& had everyone thinking she was crazy.
Adams deserve to pay for what he has done in Genoa City? Sharon deserve everything that happening to her now...
Why is it, that when a female sleep with other man they are consider a no good S--t but when men sleep with everyone is okay, I happen to like sharon but she needs to leave adam and get her daughter back from Nick. P.S. everyone in the Young and the Restless sleeps with every tom dick and harry and mary jane and sally So no one is perfect.
No sharon should not b with nick nick deserves a whole lot better because his love of his life whom he thinks she is is a s_ _t she slept with his brother, she slept with jack who was like a father to him when his real one didn't have time to be one and she almost slept with his dad too. And by the way do you guys remember when victor had his wife from a long time ago julia's lover locked in a bomb shelter that he had built below his property because he didn't want them to be together " hummm " maybe now we know why adam does some of the things he does.
Why can't Sharon make up her mind and stick to it? One minute she loves Nick, the next its Adam. And when are all the things that Adam has done to people coming out?

Jill is so stupid. She just meets a man and spills her guts about her life to him. What's next? Will she be sleeping with Cole's father?
