The Young and the Restless: Week in Review for August 30, 2010
Another week of The Young and the Restless, another batch of memorable moments both scandalous and wonderful. Read our favorites below, and let us know what yours were!
Best Moment: After abandoning his lady in her hour of need and getting a stern talking-to from ghost dad John, Billy got down on one knee and asked Victoria to marry him. His speech about settling down was SO sweet, and we loved all their ideas for the ceremony.
THEN, when we didn't think it could get any better, this fun-loving couple found out they're having a baby -- in, of course, the cutest and silliest way possible.
Funniest Moment: Chloe, Mac ,and Victoria run in to each other at yoga -- the first meeting of "The Billy Abbott Fan Club"! In general, Tuesday's episode of girlfights was pretty fun.
WTH? Moment: Phyllis, girl, we hope you called yourself out in that Real Homewreckers of Genoa City blog, because it wasn't that long ago that you stole Nick from Sharon.
Performer of the Week: Our hearts definitely broke for Chloe this week. The first signal that GC's sassy fashionista was off her game? When she somehow let Heather give her a hard time. Next? When her encounter with Ronan left her questioning herself. We're so glad she opened up about it all to Kevin ... is a romance brewing there between these friends?

I have been hanging on for dear life these last few weeks because the acting is amazing and moved up a notch! I love the Billy and Victoria story they made me cry! Mac and JT there opposites are boring, Mac is so honest and loving while JT is not sure where he is right now. Mac wants him to be honest and he said he is with his new job but she doesn't like that either. Maybe their relationship is just a phase thing and I am so glad the Chance saga has come to a head. Phyllis Phyllis Phyllis she spend so much time trying to dismantle "Homewreckers" when she is a leading lady not to mention she is trying to show off in front of Nick with Deacon with her child right there, crass like a mug!! Jill is such a baby and gets on my nerves!
Spot on about everything! OMG, Billy's proposal had me crying like a baby, I thought it was the sweets most sincere proposal I have ever witnessed on television. I love how excited over having a baby together.
The drug storyline is killing me, it needs to go away like tomorrow! lol
I felt really bad for Chloe, but I still want her with Ronan, but also like the dynamic between Chloe and Kevin... torn... :(
I love Phyllis but the homewreckers thing was a total wth moment. I still love her though...lol

I don't like the story line of Maggie /Vikki...Maggie should be written off....I hope Adam will soon be gone too...Keep Billy and Victoria going......maybe that's one storyline that Victor can lose !!
On the Chance /Chloe line ....Chance needs to tell her what she really can do....runoff with Ronan when he goes back to the FBI....
I think we all love Billy and Victoria! Best story line in a long time. JT and Mac can put a cup of coffee to sleep. They both are boring. Why do you always have Chloe do brothers? She is a very very good actress and good for the story. Maybe put her back with Chance after Ronan leaves. Is Skye and the Lawyer planning to overthrow Adam? Are they in this together? Make Adam go away - any way possible. Please don't let the Meggie thing go any longer. Let Nikki catch her and do what Nikki does best - hit her over the head with something. Jill needs to GROW UP!!!!! Basically she still doesn't have a family. Why should Lauren accept this new sister.
I love the Victoria/Billy storyline! Phyllis should get back with "Smilin' Jack" and Nick should be with Sharon. Chloe is such a sorry skank that she'd sleep her father. Meggie won't stop until she gets Nicki back on the booze while she goes after Victor (bad storyline, but interesting) Pops Abbott just can't rest in peace.
I'm still a big Phyllis fan but she is gong a little crazy. Not liking the new Heather/ Chance thing. We can never have a "good guy". However, I am soooooo in love with Villy!!! I must admit, one of the best couples EVER! A true modern day Romeo and Juliet!

Loved, loved, loved the proposal scene with Billy and Victoria! Agreed, the baby news - and the repeat tests and great reactions of the two - were definitely added bonuses. I have never been this obsessed with a soap couple before - absolutely never. Wherever they go, I follow!
I also agree about the funniest moment between Victoria, Chloe, and Mac. Chloe brought the sarcasm, Victoria finally gave it back, and Mac was the unexpected mediator (well, Vicky defender) in between. Loved the entire Ladies ep (Jill/Lauren, Ashley/Vicky, Abby, Sharon, Phyllis's vengefulness). I want a Guy's ep now!
Also a fan of the Jack/Abby alliance, Nikki's attempts to play peacemaker between Victor and Villy, and the new villain Meggie (curse her!).
Now the Heather/Chance thing - I can do without.
