These writers are getting mad cow disease or something! Sharon & Adam?? REALLY?? Make me sick!! Get that character off the show!! The likes of his character, Patty, Gloria, the Mob guy, Deacon!! ALL of these characters could go by the way side & would never be missed! WHY WOULD you writers think that getting Nikki to be a lush again would be an interesting thing to the fans?? You people who write for what USED to be the BEST soap on television, have lost what you had for brains!! Why not try using them for some INTERESTING episodes for your loyal fans?? You have NOT done so well, since Mr Bell has been gone!! I guess Y & R will be the next hatchet soap if your writers don't get your grey matter working on something other than what you have!!

I agree that fridays episode was dumb. This has been done before and only Seinfeld did it best. Nice try, but no. About these storylines everyone hates. Yes, the Patty/Emily thing is long overdue to be nixed. I like her as an actress, she does both parts pretty well. But really, do we need to put Patty back in the mental hospital again down the road? Maybe Patty should get well and actually have a relationship with brother, Paul. Maybe they could start a private detective agency together. And investigate all the crappy storylines that need to end! And about Adam, and Sharon, hmmmm, just bring them together for good. They could make Newman enterprises soar, jetting around the world, seeing wonderful places! Adam is smart and able to take the reins while Victor gets a long awaited break in jail. Nick can't really hold a candle to Adam. But he could start the new company with Victoria. Soap fans, we all know casting has to do with contracts. Hope Jeanne Cooper is ok. If she reads this, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your replacement has done well with big shoes to fill.

Y & R is getting ridiculious. It's the same thing every day. 24/7. Nothing ever changes and we have to sit and watch it over and over again and endure it. Why did that detective lady on the Diane Jenkins murder case slip Victor the syringe and how did she get it? I think she's hiding something and keeping it from the public. I'm counting the days until this Diane murder investigation is solved and we can move on to something new and fresh. This case has been going on since August. It's been 4 months and still Y & R hasn't revealed the killer. And when is Patty going to reveal herself? New Years? Or sometime in 2012? Y & R needs better writers. It sucked that Nikki married Deacon just because he blackmailed her. Nikki wouldn't be in that situation if she stopped passing out drunk all the time and not remembering anything.

HATED FRIDAYS EPISODE, I don't like backwards shows, it's like reading a book backwards then u have 2 read the book from the start 2 see what is happening. What r u writters thinking? ( must of had 2 much 2 smoke, LOL)

I couldn't wait for Nicki to come back, and what happens?? She marries Deacon. I can't stand it! Honestly , I have to stop watching the show for awhile and watch the cooking channel on my lunch break. This is just too frustrating and stupid.

I'm getting disgusted with this soap. I stopped watching it for over a decade and just recently started again. Now I remember why I stopped in the first place. Stop dragggginggggggggg out storylines. It becomes too mundane and stupid!

I can't believe they are canceling One Life to Live which has GREAT stories right now and Y&R gets great ratings with poor scripts. Doesn't make sence to me!!!!
