Hello,barbknox.Thanx.The storyline between Victor and Sharon really is RIDICULOUS!!!! I must be honest and say that I'm not a fan of Adam,however,I can not fight your phrasing of"this forbidden kind of love" between Sharon and Adam.OOOO,you give me goose bumps!You've definitely opened my heart and mind to accepting the possiibility of them getting together.Let's see what happens between now(1/2/-1/31) I'm a diehard fan of Victor and Nicky Newman just as Katherine Chancellor is.(LOL) It's hard to accept change when the timeless love between Victor and Nicky has always been.You've given me much to consider.Again,thanx.Take care.

Victor's proposal to Sharon is just keeping in character with his controlling ways. Who hasn't he tried to manipulate and control? Everyone. I hope it all backfires on him. It should. He makes Adam look like a choir boy. I hope Sharon uses Victor for all he's got. Poetic justice. Nikki should know her ex-husband better than that. The Patti storyline is old and tired. Guess we have to be tortured with this goofy character again. Let Emily come back and confront Patti.

I'm with you!! This Victor/Sharon storyline is beyond insulting!!!!!! Truthfully, I'd rather see Sharon with Adam in spite of all the things he's done!! There's something real about the way they feel about each other!! I guess it's that forbidden kind of love that makes it intriguing!! Now, wouldn't that scenario truly blow Victor and all of Genoa City out of the water!!! I'm really sick of Victor playing god, trying to control everyone's destiny!! Sharon would really be crazy to consider such a relationship! And you think Adam went berserk over Sharon and Sam??!! He would keel over dead if Sharon accepts Victor's proposal! I'm tried of the writers making Sharon look like she's a mindless idiot!! I say let Sharon be as bold as I know she can be!! Put her with Adam and make them GC's super/power couple!! I didn't get a chance to watch today's episode! I taped it so I'll have to watch later tonight!!!
I don't know if someone is controlling the writers creativity or not, but "they", whoever "they" are, really need to get it together!!!

I am indeed so grateful for the soap operas that bring out every human emotion and drama experienced in our lives.What I most appreciate about "The Young and The Restless"are the spiritual messages conveyed that most people ignore or just don't think about.There's so much we as human beings take for granted and the real stands we should be taking alone or as a whole,we're not.The writers of these soaps put so much of their hearts,souls,personal experiences and spiritual messages into the storylines.Yes,there's a line to be drawn between reality and fantasy,but,the soaps touch too close to home for many of us.We can't deny how we adore and hate our favorite characters.We see ourselves and people we know intimately in them and if there's something to be changed within ourselves and our lives,it's mirrored throughout the soap operas and its characters.The soap operas are the 'Imitation of Life'.Every time corporate mentality takes over what we enjoy and destroys the very reason we enjoy it,it's time to tell corporate to 'take a hike'.Without us,the viewer,the consumer,who has a job?Let's take back our power and enjoy our soap operas the way they're intended to be enjoyed by all- as well as-to protect"The Arts" .God bless each and all this new year of 2012 and may peace,prosperity,and greater understanding of who you are and what you strive for be yours.I sincerely means this.

My next comment involves "The Bold and The Beautiful's" characters:Steffy Forrester,Liam Spencer,Hope Sharp Logan- Forrester.What in the hell is goin' on here.This story line and plot makes no sense.Does anyone else see what I see in Steffy acting worse than the one woman she hates sooooo much (Brooke)? When will Steffy have a nervous breakdown because she is long overdue.Do not insult my intelligence by creating a story line and plot that enables her to get pregnant to hold on to Liam.This is tooooo common and predictable.Let's show better creativity in the plots for this show and really wow the audience.Let's make Hope's character stronger and more assertive.If she remains as she is then she needs to team up with Sharon Newman from "Young and the Restless" and buddy up these two idiots.(LOL) That show will be simply titled,"Young,Dumb and Restless"

Ok.I am at wits end over this ring Victor Newman has given to Sharon who has been married to both his sons and Victor is the grandfather of his son,Nick's children.I'm really reeling over Nicky Newman not coming forthright to tell Victor why she married that 'snake' Deacon.If one pays careful attention to both Nicky and Sharon--what's the difference? Either woman can't make a clear rational decision drunk or sober.I remember the true past episodes when Nicky was close to being the mess Sharon is.I will be most upset if Sharon marries Victor.This will show inconsistency to the soap opera itself and will be an insult to the loyal fans.I can,indeed, appreciate the writers spicing things up for 2012,but do not insult my intelligence.I remember watching this soap with my grandmother in Chicago during the mid-1970's.The creator of this soap,Lee Phillips had her own talk show in Chicago before I was born.I remember this cute,petite,caucasion woman with a beehive,beaufont hairdo as a little girl.Her show was "The Lee Phillips Show".What an incredible lady!Wow!Let's not ruin what she worked so hard to do and that's to not only bring entertainment to the fans but a show with integrity and sense.If Sony is controlling what the writers write,let me be the first to boycott until proper creative license is given back to the show's writers.Hell,let the fans be given an opportunity to submit ideas that will add to the show's appeal.thanks.

Can any story line have 5 minutes of happiness? It is really becomng pathetic! Thank goodness we have DVR's now. I can only watch on DVR so I can fast forward. How long will it be before you wrap the story line up for Diane? Who cares anymore. You bought Shiela back a thousand ways to one and finally killed her off, now we have crazy Patty. Ok, but can Billy/Victoria have a week before you put them back in misery? Talk about REDUNDANT! HAPPY to see Jeanne Cooper (Katherine) back. May God bless Jeanne with continued good health! Really missed her when she was gone. Missing the direction of Bill Bell about now with the "good" story lines.

This cat and mouse game that Victor is playing has gone on long enough come on writers let's get to who killed Diane enough is enough already. This Patti thing is going on to long as well please get to her being exposed.
