The only thing that could justify prolonging the "Who killed Diane" story line would be if anybody cared... I don't care how silly the Patti/Emily story line is. Stacy Haiduk is a terrific actress and well worth watching. She almost managed (as Emily) to humanize Jack. Sorry they dropped the Emily/Jack connection. Especially since I just don't see even a spark of chemistry between Jack and Genevieve. You are wasting another great talent, Debbi Morgan... Hope the writers can get their act together and give her a storyline worthy of her talent and our time!

I have finally turned off the Y&R and I am watching the cooking channel during my lunch break. Nickki marrying Deacon did it for me. It was getting stupid with Patty returning and now this crazy drunken marriage has put me over the edge. It's really too bad because it was a good show and I always enjoyed watching it even back 30 years ago when I was in college. Most soaps are going off the air and this one will probably go to. Have fun watching people. I will check the program in a few months and see if it has improved, if not it's the cooking channel!

I really hope Melody finally gets an Emmy for her role as a drunk, hot mess Nikki! I cannot believe how low this character has gone. When Nikki was a hooker she was never this disgusting. What does this say about her life as a Newman? Nikki was so much better off when she was with Paul. Even though Victor has gone to prison to protect Nikki I am not feeling the love between these two characters. Victor asks, What has happened to our family? I wish that question included Adam. No father and son should have this much hatred between them. I think killing off Sabrina was a big mistake. Deacon is a horrible, horrible person.

I think Nick is headed for a lot of disappointment with Avery. I do not trust her at all. Phyllis is dangerous and screwed up but so is Avery. I am looking forward to seeing how this story line evolves.

PLEASE, PLEASE STOP ALL OF THESE AWFUL STORY LINES! i HAVE BEEN WATCHING Y&R FOR A VERY LONG TIME, AND ALL THAT HAPPENS LATELY IS SO STUPID YOU DON'T EVEN WANT TO WATCH! NOTHING BUT SEX! EVERYWHERE! GET RID OF DEACON, AND STOP THE STUPID STORY LINES, YOU USE TO BE A PROGRAM I COULDN'T MISS, NOW I DON'T CARE!!!!!

I really wish Y & R writers would go down a different path and not stick with these recurring storylines every day. It's like watching rerun after rerun with this stuff. I thought Phyllis was gone. You can't get rid of that red haired she-devil and now she's using Ricky to hack into the restless style computers to print stories for her. I really hope Billy isn't that stupid to hire her back. All she ever cared about was herself and writing stories to ruin others names to discredit them. She doesn't care who she hurts in the process long as it's good for Phyllis. This whole Patty/Emily storyline is making me sick. Especially Patty hiding herself and pretending to be a house maid and watching every move that Jack makes. It's pathetic. Why Stacy Haiduk agreed to return is beyond me. So sick of Deacon and Nikki and her being drunk all the time. Nikki's voice is annoying just listening to her talk. Avery is getting on my nerves because her badside is starting to show and she's always kissing Nick. I don't think she's trustworthy. Everyone on Y & R acts like horny teenagers!

The only story that is keeping me watching is Billy and Victoria. If they weren't together, I wouldn't watch. They have too many stories going at one time and haven't ended any of them. You don't have to watch for weeks because nothing has happened. I can't believe how bad it's gotten.

Well after reading all the spoilers for the next week, I can safely say I won't miss much not watching this program. I cannot believe how these writers drag crap out. Wrap it people!

This show continues to bring back these old characters. They need new story lines not Patti.Emily. etc. Get rid id Deacon and the Diane murder case. Leave Victor to running Newman....As I always say get rid of Adam and now I add Sharon to the mix.
