Do the writers have to use the same ole bull that was used before? Why do they have to make the character Nikki look like such a lush & nut? For YEARS she was sober with ALL the trials she went through, & all of a sudden she can't handle anything without a drink?? This is ridiculous! ...Then they are writing the character of Adam to be in charge of Newman Int. per Victor! These writers are completely over the top!..Then they keep bringing these NUT cases back! (Patti) What is the purpose? Do you people have NO imagination? You have to keep writing the same ole same ole??...Then this Phyllis character! She has been a whacko since she came on the scene! For years she is a terrible character!!.. The ONLY thing you writers seem to get is making Sharon a stronger person! At least I HOPE you keep her that way & DO NOT try to put her & Adam (evilness) back together!..Let Victor & Nikki get together & STAY together & Billy & Victoria together & STAY together!! Those two couples MAKE the show!! ..Let Jill find someone GOOD in her life for a change!!..As much as I love Michael Learned, she can NOT make the character of Katherine!! We have watched her in that role too many years!! DO NOT let Daisy out of jail!! How can you writers keep letting people get away with murder & NEVER pay!!??

I really hope that Melody Thomas wins an Emmy for her role as Nikki this season. My God! A lady falling down drunk and making a scene in a public place. How low does a character have to go?

Phyllis is annoying. Why is it that Phyllis is either in bed with someone or causing unnecessary problems for other people? Where is Jeffery and why is he being written off as a scumbag? I don't like the direction that Adam is going. I hope the writers remember Shelia and do not make Adam so unredeemable that the fans cannot accept him anymore. Adam just gets worse by the day and I am very disappointed by his role. His family hates him, he has no friends and he continues to do hanius things. So sad!

why was catherine replaced? is she ill? or did she die?

If the show keeps going the way it is it will be the next one to be cancelled.

Y & R is just dead lately with these worn out storylines of Nikki acting stupid and being drunk making a fool of herself and going down this destructive path. I think Deacon is lying to Nikki and just made up the whole black mail plot just so she'd marry him. I don't think Deacon really knows anything about Diane's murder and wish they'd solve this case already and be done with it for good. Please get rid of Phyllis and Ronan. Those two are so sick and pathetic acting horny all the time and in bed together on every episode. Patty is so irritating and annoying hiding and lurking and watching every move Jack makes and when Jack kisses Genevieve Patty goes all mentally-ill. She needs to leave already. Sick to death of Patty 'crazy psycho' Williams. Either she reveals herself to everyone or just get rid of her. Please! The Newman family has got to be the most disfunctional family on the planet and nothing but drama surrounds them.
