I just posted something and then read this and I agree with you on all points. The writers are really taking the easy way out....thumbs down.

Please get rid of Phyllis, the character and the actress. She is too strong, too repetitive and too dramatic. Even if she were made to be nice and rational, she would still be offensive. Her time is up. Bring Ashley back. Phyllis is one reason not to tune in anymore. Even her appearance is unattractive, as she tries to look coquettish, and young, she is just getting too old looking for her character. Scrawny looking and hard. You are using her too much, perhaps. Overdoing her.

Sharon, of course is still the victim, and is even getting too old looking to play that part, where men fawn over her, regardless of what she does.

Love the rest of the cast and especially Adam's character. They are all appropriate for their roles, in my humble opinion.

Mitch5111 - Sure hope your right about the screen writters maybe reading our comments. Message to the screen writters. If you are reading these comments. Have a couple sugguestions for you.

How come you let everyone on the soap get hurt but Phyllis? Why can't you get rid Phyllis and Sharon. Sharon is the one who started the fire at the Newman ranch. How come no one has asked who started the fire?

As for Phyllis I am sick of her always getting her way all the time!! This is getting ridiculous! Also yesterday Neil was talking Mrs. C. about Jill. Will Jill ever becoming back? What is the deal with Adam sneaking out to Sharon? Sharon needs to be locked up!

Well the writers are smiling with glee after reading some of these comments. The more people get involved emotionally, the more they like it.

It will be interesting the direction they will take with the Newmans and Abbotts. I'm also curious of what they will come up with regarding Daisy and her unknown 'mother'. I do wish they would wrap up Paul's situation and move on.

The biggest problem I have with soaps is their long drawn-out storylines. It's totally unnecessary and becomes boring rather than enticing. I stop watching for months at a time and never miss anything. LOL

Chelsea was a con when she came to town, but she has been trying really hard. Her and Adam have been good for each other. Maybe she changed and Adam didn't. He is already going back to his evil ways, by helping Sharon and lieing to Chelsea.
Sharon deserves to be alone. Every man on this show has helped through the years, especially Victor. Then she burns his house down. She does not deserve anyone help right now. She needs to be put at Fairview and get herself back together and move on. She has caused so much trouble for the Newmans. There is not much difference between Sharon and Phyllis. They both need help.

On a much lighter note... I wish someone would BURN that sofa that is in Victoria and Billy's living room. LOL !!!!'

My Oh My Oh My!!!!! Soooo many opinions, and we all have them. Get real people, It's a frigging soap opera, for gods sake. I also love Adam and Chelsea together. She is NOT a con. She WAS a con. Now it seems she has turned her life around, which is more than I can say for some people. Look at PhillAss. There is evil written all over her face and she wonders why her daughter can't stand to be in the same room with her????

I've been watching since 1973 when it started with the Brooks and Foster families.
Watching memory lane yesterday was so sad.. i sat there and cried.
Adam needs to be Chelsea and Sharon needs to go she is out of control and she needs to pay for what she did to the Newman Ranch..
