"The Young and the Restless" Actress Expecting Baby Girl

Mom's the word for Michelle Stafford.

Break out the pink bows! We are thrilled to congratulate "The Young and the Restless" actress Michelle Stafford, who is expecting her first child in December. Don't expect her character, Phyllis, to be hiding behind big potted plants, though. Michelle, who has painfully struggled with artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization for the past three years, announced she is expecting a little girl through a surrogate.

 

Stafford revealed to People.com that she is excited about the upcoming baby shower being thrown by pal Kirstie Alley -- and plans on being in the room when her baby girl is born.

Congratulations, Michelle, and best wishes. I know that you will be a fantastic mom. I like the names Braylin or Braxton. For some reason I'm stuck on names that begin with the letter B. I gave my niece her middle name of Briette.
