TO ALL THE ACTORS AND ACTRESSES OF OLTL AND AMC: I am so VERY SORRY that ABC gave you all the axe. You have brought millions of people such great storylines and acting as well. I hope that you will all stay friends even though you will not be acting together. I think that you should have anniversary parties for both shows on each of the days that the shows either began or ended. You have brought me so much enjoyment. I, myself, am going to boycott ABC except for the news. I see that the head honcho of Disney/ABC Television group is this woman, who probably never watched a day of either of those shows in her life. I guess she thinks that it's macho to take off our favorite soaps. I am 60 years old now. My mom is 95 and still watched AMC and OLTL. She got me into these two shows and GH back in the beginning. I don't watch GH anymore. I think that OLTL and AMC actors and crew will receive emmys at this year's awards. Diane Perry
I will never ever watch abc again.
Well, One Life to live I guess this is good bye. Tomorrow is your last episode. I have laughed with you, cried with you and got lost in your story lines. I want to thank the cast and crew you all have done a wonderful job for so many years. I have watched the show since I was a young teenager, my mom, my grandma and my great grandma all watch the show. In 10 years from now people will know what One life to live was, They will remember the show and how much everyone love it. Good-bye you will be missed and you are loved...
Regret that this long soap is being removed after all these years bringing us entertainment five days a week.
It is going to be interesting to see who will be going to General Hospital from Llanview and how they will be squeezing the characters into Port Charles dramas.
Can't wait to see what will happen next in February.
Disney took the time to move all of the cast and crew from New York to California only to axe the series.
Here's wishing everyone connected with OLTL serial all the best no matter where they find their next acting job.
We will miss you.

I will sadly miss my Soap of One life To Live of 43 years. My Mom's Mom watched it and my Mom watched it and I watched it because, they got me hooked on it and then when my Daughter was old enough to decide for herself she watched it! That is four generations!
I love Erika Slezak,Robert S. Woods,Robin Strasser, Hillory B. Smith, Kassie DePaiva, Kristen Alderson, John, Natalie, Jessica, Rex, Gigi, Clint and Todd. I feel they are a part of my extended family. I have grown with them through the years. I an 53yrs. old and I will

Disney should have just left one life to live on the air. So its no need to watch abc Chanel 7.So you guys are going to lose a lot of people
Wow...now I have something really bad to think about Friday the 13th-the last day of OLTL on ABC. I have been watching this show since I was 9years old and now I'm 29. Two decades of memories wraps up this week. I don't like reality shows so I guess I'll have to find something to watch- at least I still have General Hospital left-for now....I'm really going to miss watching the drama on OLTL. I remember watching it on VHS after recording it during school hours and watching it on abc.com or hulu.com since I have to work...I'm glad I have pictures with some of the stars from 2008's Soap Nation event in Mableton, GA. Years from now, I can look back and say, "I remember that show One Life to Live."
I am so disgusted that ABC would be stupid enough to think that they could just cancel two of the most successful and long lasting soap operas. I have watched AMC and OLTL since I was a little girl. I so looked forward like everyone else to watching them everyday during the day or on Soapnet. I am a stay home mom and I can honestly say I look forward to 1 and 2 pm to watch my favorite soaps. I soo enjoyed all the drama and laughter they bring. They give me soo much joy and I can have that time to myself. Now ABC makes this ridiculous decision to cancel them with these stupid and unwanted reality shows!!! Give me a break!! Don't you think we have enough of these shows shoved down our throats-ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!! Not only are you hurting us long time fans/viewers , you are putting very talented actors/actresses out of jobs especially in the economy we are living today. SHAME ON YOU ABC. May your ratings fall and you go out of business!!! I can't believe with all the television/cable channels out there and online no one would help save these long time successful adored shows!!! I WISH ALL OF YOU THE BEST AMC AND OLTL ACTORS/ACTRESSES. YOU WILL BE MISSED AND MAY A MIRACLE HAPPEN AND BRING YOU BACK TO WHAT YOU LOVE AND KEEP ENTERTAINING US FOR A LIFETIME FROM A LONGTIME AND LOYAL FAN!!!!!
First off, I am devastated that ABC is yanking two very popular soaps out from under the multitude of fans.
Secondly, I am forever thankful for the 6 times I was able to go to Super Soap Weekend, and was able to meet and get autographs from many of my favorites. Those were mother/daughter(s) trips of a life time. At the last one I was finally able to meet and talk a little with Erika Slezak, and it is a shining moment I shall remember forever. I have admired her ever since she came on the show...and she wasn't the original Victoria, but she recreated the character and owned her. She's a classy lady and very pleasant to talk to. We also got our picture and autograph from Cameron Mathesin...and it was the very last minutes of the very last day, but he took the time to make sure everyone who was waiting to see him got his attention.
This kind of loyalty between fans, soaps, and the actors that breathe life into the stories is what ABC is throwing away. How utterly sad! I'll be taking a vacation day on Friday so I can see The View and the last show, and I'll certainly have the tissue box handy, because this is like a death. I remember the very first day One Life to Live aired. The opening scenes were of Larry Wollack going into a hospital. This has been one life that I've been happy to live along with. The relevance of the issues addressed in the story lines, the joy, the sadness, the comfort of knowing that Llanview was awaiting ... it was all wonderful. (I saw the real town of Llanview in Wales.) Well, I'm sad along with everyone else and I think ABC is shooting itself in the foot; actually I hope so. They deserve it.
It is a shame that ABC 's soaps are going off the air. When they started putting ALL MY CHILDREN on for an hour, I was watching YOUNG THE RESTLESS . I liked ABC better.I liked the Love hate relationship Dorian and Vicki had. Asa, Clint and Bo were good actors. Too bad noone could come forward and keep ONE TO LIVE running. Where will the actors go now
