They should have just kept the show going and then to have it end like that how bad could that be we were already hurting about the show being cancelled and then they do us like that I think that was wrong I think that they should have just left the revolution where it was not on tv john and Natalie just got back together and I knew Todd didn't kill Victor I had a feeling that Victor was still alive their mom set the whole thing up but I don't understand how in the world did Alison Perkins get him well I am going to really miss OLTL and I do know one thing for sure that I will not be watching Revolution I am willing to bet that after a while that they will be cancelling the chew and revolution before too long they will not get a better rating than amc and oltl ABC suck.
I have been In Love with One Life To Live for 15 years now and i am so sad to see it go off air. : (
I can not beloved frist all my children. And now one life to live I have been watch with my mom and aunts. For years why now i am very hurt and sad.
Lets think about it, Not much of an ending write. I did some reading on ABC and Brian Fron He is the head of ABC daytime the evil man that cancelled OLTL and AMC, come to find out that he is leaving ABC at the end of the month when his contract is up. He is being replaced with a women. So what I think they are doing is trying out that new show to see how the ratings go. They are sending the Mannings and John McBain to Port Charles to keep the story line going. The head writer from OLTL and the EP went to GH. I think they left the ending open so they can pick it back up either with GH or OLTL. Everyone needs to boycott ABC during the day do not watch that channel at all during the day, Do not leave your TV on ABC even if your not home, if your TV is on ABC they will get the rating and we can not let that happen. We need to keep posting let them know that we love OLTL and we miss it I don't know what I'm going to watch today... Please everyone we need to stick together. To get our show back...
I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND UR FRUSTRATION...BUT TRUTHFULLY IF WE REALLY THINK ABOUT IT ...THEY SAY JOHN MCBAIN AND THE MANNINGS...SO JOHN MCBAIN MEAN NATALIE AND LIAM....THE MANNINGS MEANS EVERYONE FROM TODD AND HIS FAMILY, VICKY IS A MANNING SO HER N HER FAMILY AS WELL, WHICH THEM BRINGS CLINT AS HER MATE SO THEREFOR THE BUCHANONS SHOULD B JOININ THE SHOW TOOO, THAT ALSO BRINGS DESTANIE N HER FAMILY IN THE PICTURE WITH MATHEW....LET'S JUST HOPE FOR THE BEST
SO IM NOT SURE IF U GUYS KNOW OR NOT BUT THIS IS NOT THE END TO ONE LIFE TO LIVE....OK YES THEY CANCELED THE ACTUAL SHOW BUT LET ME FEEL U GUYS IN....SO MY DVR DID NOT FULLY RECORD OLTL AT 1PM....SO I WENT TO THE SOAP CH AND SET IT TO BE RECORDED FRIDAY NIGHT AT 12AM...SO AS IT WENT OFF A PREVIEW POPPED UP....(LET ME CLEAR MY VOICE) IT STATED JOHN MCBAIN AND THE MANNINGS ARE MOVING TO PORT CHARLES WITH GENERAL HOSPITAL COMING THIS FEBRUARY....I REPEAT JOHN MCBAIN AND THE MANNINGS ARE MOVING TO PORT CHARLES WITH GENERAL HOSPITAL COMING THIS FEBRUARY....IMMMMMMMM SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED...IF UR A TRUE OLTL FAN U SHOULD B TOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I can't believe how that show ended. Victor is still alive? John walked in on Todd and Blair in bed together? Clint bending down on one knee tp propose to Vicki? Troy Magiver and Allison Perkins on the loose? Allison holding Victor as a hostage? Tomas was this close to getting to Blair and didn't? I do not like this at all. Why did they ended like that? Well, I think instead of 1 hour, they should've let that show run for 2 hours. Some people got a happy ending (starr and cole, markko and langston, matthew and destiny, clint and vicki, rex, gigi and shane) and some didn't. (tea' and todd, john and natalie, jessica and ford,) I think that's it. Bo and Nora got a happy ending. I just wish that all of Llanview residents got a happy ending since that was the very last episode. To me, that wasn't fair. That show should've lasted 2 hours. I hope that they will bring that show back on one more time. Like a grand finale or something. Because, that show wasn't finished. There are some unfinished stories that needs to be told. So yeah, I think that they should bring on a grand finale. A one more last episode, at least.
For all the posters who are dissing GH, please don't. There are countless numbers of us who also like GH. Agreeably, some storylines will resonate more with us than others. But to summarily discount GH to the point that some are wishing for its cancellation too makes me really sad and apprehensive. I've been watching GH since 1969 (and started watching AMC and OLTL in 1970). I love all three of those shows, with OLTL always being my most favorite. At times, storylines on GH would grab me in really strongly, as would SLs on AMC. I am sooooo very, very distraught that both AMC and especially OLTL are gone. Am praying that some network will still pick them up. In the meantime, though, I beg people to not sabotage GH because I do not want to lose my last favorite soap. I once in awhile watch Days (the first soap I ever watched - because of my boyfriend's mom) and B&B but I love GH. I do not want to lose GH!
I was near bawling when I watched The View, especially when I saw the OLTL cast tearing up. I personally think too much time was given to Judith Light, even though I loved, loved, loved her as Karen Wolek. Erica Slezak is such a class act as are all the castmates, including Robin Strasser (love that woman! - she was excellent as Dorian). Oh my gosh, Bob Woods is such a handsome man and boy was he the cutie back in the day. Today's last episode was done well in my opinion since they actually only get about 38 minutes of show once the commercials are deleted out. I always had the inkling that Victor would still be alive. So much of the two Todds storyline was based on espionage type smoke and mirrors. I'm glad he's alive. Trevor St. John is a superb actor! I also wonder how the OLTL merge to GH will work out with the significant others remaining behind. But, I am happy that there'll be a continuation of OLTL story. I am praying some network will pick up OLTL. I've watched this soap since nearly its inception, and having invested 40 years of my life with it has me heartbroken that it's now off. I HATE ABC for doing this to us! I have already switched my DVR timer. I will stay with GH because I have been a longtime fan of it since 1969. I vow to never watch the two monstrosities that took away AMC and OLTL! I want OLTL to come back! It's like a nightmare that this show is now gone! By the way, the ads for The View claimed a couple surprises that would have everyone all excited. What were those? I did love how they had the guests show up. A one hour (not even because of commercials) celebration of the fine soap opera, OLTL was not enough. I did enjoy it but clamored for more. I am distraught . . . It's going to be a tough week next week when there's no OLTL to watch.
