Celebrate the season as SOAPnet airs The Chew's Countdown to Christmas Marathon, bringing viewers more of all the food, drinks, gift ideas and helpful hints to tackle last minute holiday cooking, shopping and festivities. It's all happening this weekend – from 8AM-1PM ET/PT on Saturday, December 17 and Sunday, December 18 – only on SOAPnet!
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17
8AM – Go Big or Go Home for the Holidays: Have you ever wanted to make gingerbread house? Well here is your chance! Check out Carla's recipes for the perfect gingerbread house. Also, Mario prepares his famous Osso Buca, and Michael cooks up his double cut pork chops.
9AM – Holiday Slumber Party: Nothing beats a holiday slumber party, especially when you have Michael's bacon fat popcorn, Carla's tacos, Clinton's General Tso's chicken and Mario's crepes to go with it.
10AM – Holiday on a Dime: What Not to Wear's Stacy London stops by to make her signature dish, Ambrosia salad, and a special Stinton cocktail. Michael whips up a Swiss steak with arugula salad, and Daphne shows off her baking skills with her coconut pound cake.
11AM – Chew on Ice: Clinton mixes up three cocktails you need for your holiday party: the Rolls Royce, the Hot Buttered Rum and the Punch Drunk Punch. Pair those with Michael's phyllo pies, Mario's white gazpacho soup, and Carla's coconut snowballs and your party is sure to be a hit.
12PM – Cozy Christmas: Late Night host Jimmy Fallon dons an ugly sweater and gets cooking with Mamma T and Mario. Together, they make zuppa di clams and wine-stained gemelli with sausage meatballs. Top it all off with Carla's pavlova for dessert.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18
8AM – The Chew's A Christmas Carol: The Chew crew cooks up some of their favorite holiday dishes, including Mario's capon with mushrooms and polenta, Michael's porchetta, and curried chicken and dumplings.
9AM – My Favorite Holiday: Actor Marlee Matlin shows off her cooking skills as she and Mario prepare corzetti with green ricotta. Mario also makes a Strengulapreti alla Sorrentina. Then, Chef Jason Roberts whips up a roasted leg of lamb with potatoes that would be welcome on any dining room table.
10AM – Holiday Party in the Kitchen: Former Dynasty star Linda Evans prepares a Buche de Noel cake that's every chocolate-lover's dream. Also, Michael Symon whips up a tasty appetizer popular in his hometown, the Hanky Panky.
11AM – The Chew’s Secret Santa: This episode features a holiday installment of Michael Symon's "Five in Five," with his delicious chicken and sausage with couscous. Plus, Carla Hall whips up a chocolate cream pie, and Mario cooks a savory lamb shank with oranges and olives.
12PM – Naughty & Nice Nibbles: Bobby Deen stops by to whip up his baked coconut shrimp while Daphne prepares her ricotta, chocolate, honey and pine nut tart and Mario makes a three-cheese version. Carla and Michael also make mini baked potatoes and roasted dates with pancetta.
