That's correct the original Clint ( Clint Ritchie ) passed away 1-31-2009 I don't remember seeing or reading anything in soap news but it's certain that he is gone !!!!!

I think Asher is a toad and very angry kid. Why is he is angry with Caleb who has no clue he's his son - or is he? Did you ever think it's Adams kid?? But I think Caleb will pounce on JR - get Marissa custody and then JR and or Asher will Kill Caleb - just after he re-unites with Erica. Of course Erica and Jackson will be back soon because of the trial. Annie is such a sad case and in a world of no return - she is smoking something and Scott get rid of him - he is such a woose - just my opinion that's all folks. AMEN

amc4yrnow- The original Clint Buchanan was played by Clint Richie. He died not to long ago, I think. I loved Gigis' discomfort during the Life Studies class. Farrah Fath plays her like she could be your best friend. I think Gigi is the best 'new charactor' in years.

I really wish they would bring David vickers back ! He and Dorian make me laugh . I dont like them making Clint evil though bring back the old clint he was handsome ! I think Asher is a very untrust worthy guy. He has just too much hate & anger built up on the inside...and he will explode soon. I think he'll do it on Caleb too.....but I believe Caleb is smarter than what people think....being so they all just look at him as a "mountain man", I think Caleb will catch Asher trying to take him down, but then the tables will turn and Caleb will out smart them all, and take Asher down..........before he finds out Asher is his son.
Then the regrets may happen.

I think Asher is ok, he is just a mixed up kid, he,ll be o.k. as long as he stays away from JR. Caleb does look better with the beard and musache.
