Good news, Ryan Atwood fans! Ben McKenzie's series Southland, which NBC shockingly canceled before any of its Season 2 aired, has been picked up by TNT.
The network will air the first seven-episode season of the gritty drama, in which Ben plays a rookie Los Angeles cop, followed by six new installments, starting in January. And, Entertainment Weekly reports, the show could get picked up for more!
It's a welcome change of pace for OC star TV projects -- Mischa Barton's The Beautiful Life was axed this season after just two episodes. Also attempting to turn the cast's luck around? Rachel Bilson, who's been cast on How I Met Your Mother as the rumored long-awaited mother.
Now, if we could just get Adam Brody his own show -- we miss his cute TV nerdness.
Will you watch Ben in Southland?
