This show is not about the War of Northern Aggression. This show is about young women and their lives, which happen to be in Kentucky. "919101" you need to stop being so angry about events that happened before your lifetime. All of us southern women, black and white, have redefined ourselves, and you need to do the same. You have 5 examples of dignified and talented southern women in this show. Perhaps you might want to actually watch it.
I am from Kentucky, but not Louisville. I'm from the oldest settlement. I do not care for the Southern Bells. My first big minus is the name it self. I know Louisville was a very large slave trading city. So to call ones self Southern Bells makes one think, me for starters that people all over the U.S. that reads soap net will think we were for the south. We were a neutral state. Plus over half the people from Kentucky that was in the civil war wore the blue for the north. And sorry to say there was a branch for the south station in Louisville. I hope the people from Louisville does not find this in their history to be proud of. The people of Louisville the Mayor the producers someone should have thought about keeping the name neutral. The civil war has been over now for a 144 years, but the name it self goes against all the lives that was gave to keep this land whole and free. This was what I thought in a flash when I first seen the name of the show. As far as the show it self, I have enough problems with out watching theirs.
i hope there is a season2. i love the show
I love Southern Belles....I am from Louisville...but have moved south to Franklin, KY and watching this reminds me of home. These girls are great and I hope there will be a season two....I cna't wait to see how their lives have changed. I hope Shea will find someone who deserves her and will treat her better then Jeff. And I hope things comtinue to go good for Julie and her bf. Hopefully next season will lead to some great events in all there lives.
I hope There is a season 2. I like these ladies. I am from Louisville.
IMO the season finale was bittersweet, Kellie decide to stay in Louisville as Emily opt to leave, I like were all of there at the end of the show except for the twist I didn't see coming with Shea & Jeff....I knew they had problems, I even thought that they would push back the wedding but for him to cheat on her :rme and her loosing her mom was just sad.
Glad she had her friends there with her, I'm so happy for Julie, Emily and Hadley cause they got what they wanted and more :)
