So what did you think of Friday's "General Hospital" bombshell -- that Sonny (Maurice Benard) has a kid? OK, another kid. The difference here is that his son, one Dante Angelo Falconari (yes, he's Irish), is all grown up.

In case you missed Friday's episode, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) received a call from her son, Dante. Which was big news to us. The bigger news was that hospitalized Kate, streaming in and out of consciousness, chose that moment to wake up and blab to Patrick (of all people) that Sonny had a kid. With Olivia. Poor Patrick ... what's he going to do with this info?

More importantly, what the heck is Sonny going to do with his new son? With Michael in a coma, and not being allowed to see Morgan or Kristina, Sonny's kind of lonely for his children. Dante could represent a new beginning for Sonny -- a chance to redeem past wrongs.
