SOAPnet's New Series!
We've got so much good SOAPnet news we don't know where to begin, y'all! Two new series are headed your way, and OMG -- more "Being Erica" as well! Keep reading for all the details.
Original reality series "Holidate," premieres Wednesday July 29 at 10PM. The show takes two women per episode who are looking for love but having no luck with the suitors in their individual cities and transports them into each other's lives. They'll date the men in each other's towns and communicate with each other throughout the journey in hopes of finding true love.
"Bank of Mom and Dad" is an original reality series that takes women in their 20's and 30's whose spending is spiraling out of control. Each episode sees one woman facing a major reality check as her Mom and Dad move in for one week to police her finances and take over her life. In the end, she'll face up to her debt with the help of financial expert Farnoosh Torabi -- best known for her work on CNBC, MSNBC and Real Simple.
"Bank of Mom and Dad" will start a 10 episode run on SOAPnet starting Wednesday, September 30 at 10PM.
Finally -- where's Dr. Tom? Who's this new psychiatrist? And seriously -- how cute is Ethan? We'll get answers when Season Two of "Being Erica" premieres on SOAPnet in early 2010. Of course, we can solve the Ethan riddle right now...the correct answer is super-cute. Obvs!

im glad to see that Being Erica is coming back, but what about the show MVP
"Being Erica" is coming back? That's the best news I have heard all week! It's kind of a downer to learn we have to wait so long though.
Hopefully they won't change a thing and will continue down the successful road they started on. So often the powerful people have to put their ideas in, like what happened to GH's Nightshift, and the show is ruined and dies because of the second season.
For starters, they need to bring back Dr. Tom! He was one of the best parts of the show!
omg I know thats almost a whole year from Season 1 :( Maybe I'll be able to find it online somewhere b/c it airsi n Canada on CBC in September.
