Here's a fun way to be introduced to America: on a 60 foot billboard in Times Square. In your skivvies.
Such is the story of "MVP" star and SOAPnet main squeeze, Dillon Casey, whose giant half-naked mug was revealed in the tourist hotspot today. If you're in the area, go check it out -- but don't expect to run into the real thing. "My friends are saying 'Let's go to New York,'" a sheepish Dillon -- who lives in Toronto -- tells us. "But I think it might be kind of lame to go stand under my own billboard and point at it."
The actor, who has a master's degree to go along with those abs, is all kinds of cute, humble, and hilarious. When asked if he can play hockey like his character, Mustangs rookie Trevor Lemonde, he jokes, "I love getting that question because when George Clooney was on 'ER,' I don't think anybody asked him if he was a surgeon."
So how does a smart, funny guy end up on a block of ice in his underwear, anyway? Economics, he explains. "I went to McGill [University] trying to find out what I wanted to do with myself. I got interested in economics while I was there and then went and did the masters in economics at University of Toronto." He pauses. "It confirmed to me that I didn't want to have anything to do with economics."
