Just when you thought the Soap Nation tour couldn't get any cooler, along came word that ABC Daytime and SOAPnet would be sponsoring some free fan events held before country superstar Sara Evans's concerts this summer. We told you we'd be back with an update -- so here we are, complete with info on just what to expect THIS SATURDAY in FORT WORTH, TX!

BIG NEWS! The first 100 Sara Evans concert ticket holders who attend will received a voucher for a FREE copy of Sara's upcoming book, "The Sweet By and By"!
ALSO: Did you know that every two seconds, someone in this country needs blood? We can all do our part by donating, and the American Red Cross will be in Fort Worth to collect! And here's a tip -- we have it on good authority that a couple of our stars will stop by the collection center throughout the day!
Actors from all three ABC Daytime shows ("All My Children," "One Life to Live," and "General Hospital") will take part in fabulous 'n' fun events and activities throughout the afternoon leading up to the Sara Evans concert in Fort Worth. May we remind you once again that these aforementioned events and activities are FREE?! That's right -- you can get autographs, meet the actors, play games, win giveaways, all at the venue will Sara will play that night ... and that afternoon of merriment won't cost ya a penny!

My daughter & I were in the second line. We were told by a Soap Nation person to go to the second line if we were getting autographs from General Hospital stars. We were 20 & 21st in line. It took us almost 3 hours to get our autographs. I was really disappointed in the organization of the whole show. The stars were absolutely wonderful though. My 7 year old didn't get to come, but when I told them about her they happily signed pics for her. My 19 year old got her picture with Greg Vaughn & Brandon Barash. Overall we had a great time. Did anyone know who the guy with the video camera was? Is there any way that we could see the film he took. I looked all over but can't find it any where.
I did not have the pleasure of attending the event at Billy Bob's, however, I had intended too. It always amazes me how unprepared people are for events like this. You should always expect overcrowding and a certain level of disorganization. YOu should consider the number of people who watch these shows and that you are not the only one who would want to attend.
I agree with Juanita. The lines were long, but I had a blast. I did get to talk to Bradford later that night after Sara's show and I said "could it have been more organized? yes, but if I would have known I would have been standing in line for over four hours to meet Brandon and Greg, I would do it all over again." He said said that they (Soap Nation) didn't expect that many people to come out, so they weren't prepared enough for it and that they would be working on that for future events.
Even though it was super disorganized, it was a lot of fun. So thanks to Soap Nation for bringing them to Texas and thanks to the soap stars for taking your time out to come do things like this for the fans. Especially Greg, Bradford and Brandon who were all super sweet!
First off, I'd like to thank Soap Nation for coming all the way to Texas and making this FREE for everyone!
My sister and I watch GH religiously!! We arrived at Billy Bob's at 12:30 and immediately as we walked in the door we got into the line for autographs. The time that we finally reached the autograph table was at 4:55 and there still was a good 50 to 75 people behind us. We stood in line the whole time. The only complaint that I have was the lines because at first there was one and then there was a second one that people formed. It should have been better organized where people had time to go through the autograph line and still able to participate in the events throughout Billy Bob's. After I got my autographs, I was happy and I told my sister even though the lines sucked I still had fun and I would do this again! Can't wait for the next one!!
We came in from Missouri for the event. The lines for autographs in Fort Worth were not well organized. However the stars were gracious and very personable and kid friendly. My mother and sisters were lucky enough to go to the Meet and Greet before the Sara Evans concert and meet with all. Great experience for them and she hopes they come to St. Louis soon.
First of all, I would like to say that all of the stars were wonderful and sweet to all the fans. I am totally disappointed that I was unable to get any pictures with any of them because of the crowd. My suggestion is that they set a separate booth for each star to divide the lines up. I went to Fun in the Sun at the Texas state fair and it was wonderful!
Took my mother n law & my son to Billy Bob's Saturday for Soap Nation, there was no way we was standing in the line shooting almost out the front door and I see from the other visiters it was a wise choice. It wasn't well organized @ all. However we did agree we liked that it was inside out of the heat. To bad,maybe next time

FLAWLESSJOEY WON HIS NAME ON ONE OF THE 3 SOAP SHOWS COME'N EARLY FALL,HE LIVES ON THE HIGHEST HILL IN FORT WORTH TEXAS OVER LOOKING A PANORAMIC VIEW.HE IS A YOUNG LUCKY KID AT 29 ...GO TO HIS MYSPACE/FLAWLESSJOEY.......HE WAS SO EXCITED WHEN HE WALKD ON THE STAGE WIT A GH STAR IN HIS KNEE HIGH LEATHER BOOTS HE HAD THE CROWDS ATTENTION..THE NAME YOU'LL HEAR ON THE SHOW WILL BE JOEY'DANIEL RETANA SO LISTEN WILL KEEP YA POSTED ON THIS UPDATE...JOEY MET LIKE EVERYONE BUT MARCY,DONATED TIME TO GIVE BLOOD ,HUNG OUT WITH LUCKY LIKE 5 TIMES ,TOLD CRYSTAL SHES A SEXY COOGER ,KISSED BLAIR ,MY HOW THE CROWD WAS JAMMEED AFTER ALL IT WAS THE WORLDS LARGEST HONKY TONK...& JOEY IS THE OFFICAL HONKY TONK KID...JONNY ZAKARA REMEMBERD ME AS FABOLOUS BUT I'D ASURED HIM IT WAS fLAWLESS..in the red cross blood drive room & behind the stage i let him know i appreciated him wearing a pearl snap shirt...so the time was well spent i got there when the door open'd at 11am till 5pm.....everyone respectd my strong honky tonk approach..jessica & liza i got danc'n comen out of the party room oh yea ...crystal said i was hot.....i said to lucky are ya shy he walkd bout 3 steps stoppd looking down then lookd up said i'm not shy ,then i said come here then he did ...i love the daytime drama i brought with kissing blair she was suprised like in june when i kissed country legend george jones....i told blair relax its only daytime drama thought she was used to it lol....my if ya wanna stay intouch send pictures or just say high & congrats on the spot on the soapnet come on all is welcome ..i loved spend'n time with so many great ladies......& gents.....love always Flawlessjoey.....

Matt, (3 posts down) Sounds like you were in the same line as we were... I too was disappointed there were no soap T-Shirts or other soap stuff.. I came ready to buy.. Oh well... Lack of any direction when we entered was another problem... It was masses of fans and no one to answer questions!
i know that a lot of fans of the soap net was not happy with billy bobs order.I enjoyed the long day of standing & going back & fourth but i'm in my 20's so i can get around faster but these shows been going on before i was born & i would of liked for the older fans who could not get around to still had a good time....thankx to all of you who hung in there....thats what you had to do...i got lots of pics & autographs to post & share just go to myspace.com/flawlessjoey they will be up soon......
